Where the heck do you find supplies to make potions? Vendors will sell flasks at quantities of 99, but where do you find enough elfroots and lyrium to beef up your quantities?
I am extremely vexxed about this.

correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know scavenging is the only way of getting elfroots and lyrium dust.

Man, that stinks. There does not seem to be enough scavenging options/location to my liking!

The Dalish camp and, I think, Lothering both have vendors that sell 99 elfroot.
There is, as far as I know, no way to get a lot of lyrium. You're just kind of left to scavenge for that. Save and buy every scrap you can, though, and NEVER use it in lieu of a potion.

yeah, I screwed the pooch at lothering. I had no idea if you leave town, it suddenly goes poof. Did not pay attention to the hints I guess. I lost out on pne of the NPCs, never did any of the quests, was lucky to pick up the bard chick.
