I had and beat ME1 on xbox 360 but I sold my 360 and only play games on PC now. I bought ME2 for PC and thought it wouldn't be a very big deal if didn't get the privelage of transfering my save file. I was wrong. I was able to let the fact that you killed Urdnot Wrex by default slide. But when it occured to me that you chose Udina as part of the council and not Anderson (wtf Bioware?), that was the last straw. Furthermore, it's default that you didn't save the council at the end of ME1. That makes it impossible for you to regain spectre status. Although these decisions don't necesarily have a big impact on the game, it takes a lot away from my ME experience. I figure it's best I buy ME1 now and play through that with the decisions I want so I can transfer my save over to ME2 in preparation for ME3. I'm not even sure I want to continue to beat ME2 now...at least not until I get ME1 and beat that with the choices I want.
PS: Regarding masseffectsaves.com: I'd rather not.
I'm officially going to buy ME1 so I can get the decisions I want in ME2 and 3
