I was wondering if the following facts would be possible with the DAO Toolset:
- Editing a video file and add it as a cutscene.
- Make images appear fading in and out during a cutscene or even during the gameplay.
Thanks for your time.

You can do #2 by doing #1, and yes you can play a bink video file as a cutscene.

Thank you. I asked #2 in case that #1 wasn´t possible.
How can #1 be done? I mean, to call a cutscene you must have a .cut file, right? I´ve seen how to capture cutscenes and turn them into video (which can be interesting to add some post-production to it) but not the other way around.
Thanks again for your time.

Taniwha, in the cutscene editor under the 'Master' track you can add a 'new track' On that track you can 'add an effect' such as fade in or fade out. You can also 'Add Action' one of the choices for ad action is 'Play Bink movie'
