Both Origins AND awakening!!! Whos your LEAST favorite...

I can't make my own mind up... But I would say Zevran is my least favorite... His stories are all fun and good and stuff but well... Thats not enough to get to my top favorite companions list!

I like them all, but Origins and Awakening together, I'd have to say Oghren. He's mildly amusing in Origins. He's a drunk in Awakening.

Well in Awakening it's Oghren. It was infuriating trying to figure out what gets his approval up, and he completely ignored the fact that he was supposed to change and reform at the end of Origins.

In Origins... well, it's Oghren again really. But only because I like the others a little bit better than him, I like him so much better in Origins than in Awakening. Origins he's good, Awakening I felt like whacking him.

You know this would have been a hard question a couple of months ago for me. Then Velanna existed. So my answer is Velanna because she manages to be less sympathetic than Vaughn.

in origins it's oghren with wynn getting an honorable mention.

in awakenings it's oghren by a landslide. i can't tolerate him at all. he gets ignored completely and then ditched for good as soon as the queen swings by.

I kind of like most of them once I get to know them. That said, the ones I like least would be Zev and Oghren. Zev is damaged beyond repair, and the idea of him as a romantic companion (even for "Evil" characters) just creeps me out. Oghren I just don't find funny, and his personality past the fart jokes doesn't interest me.



I guess between the two I dislike Oghren more. Zev may be horribly damaged, but I can see why people find him endearing. Oghren just annoys me.

I'd have to say the stale Sten, if they were hoping to make him into some kinda honorable blood thirsty warrior they failed with that. He offers little to no insight on his past expect to say "You are called the Warden, I am called the Sten" and even in the dream world fade they can't reflect on his memorys well enough expect to make copys of himself talking to each other

I would accept him more as a warrior if I knew he actually was one, a warrior is honorable he killed an innocent family in his own rage because he lost his sword. Then winds up locked up in a cage who should be very happy not to be facing the darkspawn for what he did. Does he say thank you, no nearly everything you do with him he dissaproves of with offering little reason and with Allister and Shale, I found not using him in my party expect at the very end

I like all of them in origins, but the one that I like the least is Wynne. In my most recent playthroughs, she remains in the Circle Tower, near the Quartermaster (wearing the Chantry robe).

In awakening it's Oghren by far. I am glad that we can refuse his offer to join the wardens.

Velanna is my least favorite character overall. There is too much unsympathetic hate there.

I never understand all the Oghren hate. I think it's that most people can't get past the Drunken Dwarf stereotype. I like the other aspects of him, about how Branka's abandonment of him left him broken and how you can help him get past that. Then of course Awakening comes and gets rid of his character development so it would make more sense for him to be there.

I think I'm the only one that likes Ogrhen. But I have a 13 yearolds since of humor. Also after seeing his dream in the fade. I feel bad for the guy.

In Origins my least favourite character is Morrigan, by quite a long stretch. She came across as a spiteful princess type to me, and I found her snarky comments more irritating than amusing. If you get her approval high enough however, she does become a lot more tolerable.

Wynne or Leliana.

Wynne because of her annoying preachy Chantry-Mental hypocrisy, Leliana because of her irritating "girliesness" coupled with religous nuttery. Opposite of everything I like.

Awakening: Velanna. Annoying, ****y elf with "We're so oppressed, die, human" tendancies that are annoying.

I never really had a problem with Wynne until I played a Circle Mage. Unless you completely toe the Chantry and Enchanters Dogma, she is just unbearable. For someone who agrees with the Chantry, Templars, and the state of Magic, I can understand how they would not come to the same conclusion as me but ach...as a Magi who wants to be free she makes it clear she'd be the first one I'd have to kill.



I think Velanna will win by a landslide though. Just another bitter, antisocial Dalish that sat in the Keep for the entire playthrough.

him. But what really sucks about him is that he spends at least 2/3 of the time lying dead..

You must be spec'ing him badly then...he pretty much never dies in my games.

Overall, the character I hated the most was Velanna. She's one annoying elf.
