I've tried posting problems.  I've tried "speaking with my wallet" and not buying new content until the old content is fixed.  I'm not sure what else to do.  Bioware even hired a new guy to talk to us more and he hardly even says anything.

I'm to the point where I'd actually pay a PREMIUM for what I've already got to work correctly.  If the only way to get Bioware to fix the problems in the X360 version of DA:O is to make it an expansion and pay for it, then I've been pushed there.   How about it Bioware?  You can't seem to make patches in a timely manner, but the entirely new content seems to be able to churned out quickly enough.  If we were to actually BUY the patches would it make any difference?  It seems ludicrous, but it seems like it's the only way you'd want to take care of your customers.

Maybe if the support team had as many resources as just ONE of the apparently MYRIAD expansion teams we'd be able to get a patch for all the problems.  But no; all we get are patches to allow us to buy the next thing churned out by Bioware.  5 months, 2 DLCs and 1 major expansion later, and the problems in the original game still aren't fixed.

I never thought I'd give up.  I'm just wondering now who else is close to giving up too.

they already have this idea.

Well, my take on such troubles is playing only on the PC, where modders fix it.

Patches cost money, dlc and useless stuff like letter openers and t-shirts make money, so you can see where EA puts all it's resources. It's been seven months and they aren't gonna do sh*t to fix this game, I mean the only time they even come here is when new dlc is coming out to give us the line of "we're working on fixes" just to get us to buy their newest dlc. They are simply taking advantage of the people that will mindlessly buy up every little thing thrown their way, they have had plenty of time to fix this game but have chosen not to. It sucks, but I really don't think they'll ever fix this game for us, once they have our money they could care less what we want or what we think.

I would happily pay 5 bucks for a patch to awakenings so I could actually play the game. Right now its just an expensive coaster.

oh im waaaay close to giving up on them, for sure!

not have 1 achievement in the entire game, not becuz it was too hard to get, no, becuz the game is bugged out to NOT let u get it when uve met the critria numorus times... pardon me, but F that!

and when u speak to the tech support they offer no help what-so-ever, nah i agree... no patches (for a price or not) no more of their bugged BS games

I wouldn't pay for a patch, f*ck that. They release a buggy as hell game and then we'd have to pay to have them fix it, no way that would work. All they do now is hide behind the EULA and say that they have no "obligation" to fix the game, so basicly it's a big FU to all of us who have bought the game and waited seven months for them to fix it.... I'm not buying anything else from them until they get their sh*t together. EA will just continue to ruin Bioware till there's nothing left, and exploit every single fan in the process, it's pathetic, but that's what they do.

HELL NO!!!

Don't be willing to buy a patch. EA/Bioware would love that. Pay for what should be free? Never.

Soooooooo, when are we getting a real patch? By real, I mean something that fixes the game instead of breaking it more, or does more than just making the latest money grab, I mean dlc, work? Almost eight months and still nothing, this is very sad, they can hide behind the EULA all they want, but in the end they are trading long time fans for casual players that won't spend the same time or money supporting the company. Hate to say it, but I really hope it comes back to haunt them, and I have a feeling it will when they launch their MMO.

Have fun keeping players when you can't even fix this game almost eight f*cking months later! Maybe they'll learn their lesson when the MMO fails, or maybe they will actually support it since they will most likely charge a monthly fee, it will be interesting to see how it works.
