so i think i just experienced one of the most moving scenes in the game so far. My party had just been done defeating Witherfang and siding with the elves, and on our way from the Dalish camp to Denerim i had another dragon dream, the camp was attacked, and we fought it off, after i went and spoke with Lelianna and she started talking about the Dalish and everyones own mortality, to which she said the story of the werewolves reminded her of a song. What followed was just awe inspiring.

She started to sing.

The way the camera was directed, pausing on some of the different characters was masterful. Seeing Dog and Alistair by the fire listening, then Morrigan off at her hovel sitting, listening then shaking her head, then Sten, stoic but watching, he turns his head away and down in reflection, it was just beautiful. Truly an awesome moment in the game for me.

Talk about her past, learn she likes shoes, and talk about shoes for a large ++++ hit, then with just 2 gifts you are on your way, the shoes you can find, and Andrastes Tears (a flower) then you get the side quest opened up, and shes butter

The singing scene is nice, but the way her eyes move makes her look possessed and/or insane. I liked the party members' reactions - Morrigan is totally not down with that sort of tomfoolery.

I thought that event was awesome, totally caught me off guard when she started singing but still epic.

Just as a point of note, the Antivan Leather boots you can find are NOT one of her good gifts, those ones are for your OTHER rogue.

Heh, when it first started it was the first time that I thought the whole facial animation and lip sync VO looked bad to the point of being comical. Usually I think it is very effective and powerful. About mid way through the song though I stopped noticing and was drawn in by the masterful cutscene techniques and storytelling elements. By the time it was done I was thinking, "Wow. Brilliant." I found myself thinking back on it again at other times. It's another gem in this storytelling treasure trove.

Leliana is a little touched to begin with. Thats part of her charm.

I like to think that she was jealous lol.

Yea Leliana was great and that scene was awesome. One of my favorite scenes actually.

Besides the eye moment, the singing scene is nice indeed. Just passed that.

The style of the song immediately reminded me of Return of the King. Morrigan's and Sten's reactions were by far the best.
