Ser Cauthrien.
This. When I talked her down at the Landsmeet I thought it would be the perfect opportunity.
Although that would be two "late edition" companions you could get. Kind of tough to get to know onethatlate in the game much less two.

This, hands down. You would be able to enchant your weapons the moment you find new, powerful ruins! And just think of all the entertaining conversations he could have with your other companions.bobobo878 wrote...

Hmm...difficult. Aneirin from Wynne's personal quest in DA:O would be my top choice. Closely followed by Soris, Ser Perth, Teeeeeegan...*sigh* Why is the hot-guy-per-capita so much better in DA than it is in ME?

Ser Cauthrien - I hope we get a strong female warrior in the next expansion or sequel.

Yep, Ser Cauthrien all the way. Or Isabella. On my first playthrough, I would have said Jowan because a blood mage would have been interesting, but now that I'm playing a mage, I'm less sympathetic toward him (which is not what I expected at all).

Kardol, Riordan, Ser Cauthrien, Moira, or Flemeth (actually I wondered why they did not put that in the game of letting Flemeth posses Morrigan instead of killing her)
Do we know for sure that Flemeth doesn't posess Morrigan at the end?

A demon or abomination of course. You're allowed to play as a blood mage, why not recruit a demon as a follower? It always puzzled me - you encounter lots of demons but never have the option to recruit one.
If you played Jade Empire you remember Ya Zhen, who possessed dead girl's body. Well, to be honest his role in Dragon Age is performed by Morrigan, but I'd love to see a purely evil companion.

Those two guards that go to patrol with you during the escape from prison. We'd form a band of vigilantes and do Batman stuff.
Duncan. He'd assume the leadership, but who cares.
