I don't go into that "your eyes are bright like 1000 stars..." approach but rather the direct one.

Celrath reference ftw.  But yeah, being too direct can easily make you single, unfortunately...its almost like the girls want us to lie to them.

But ANYWAYS, every gamer gets it in their head that all there life is gaming - which can be kind of a depressing thought.

The good news is that you've shown yourself to be mature enough to take a step back and realize this.  As others have said, all you have to do is go out and find something else to do with your life - not necessarily a job, but maybe just a hobby or an interest dealing with reality as apposed to fantasy...and yes, a real-life romantic interest could/would/should likely be near or at the top of the to-do-list...and no, SIMs is in no way considered an appropriate substitute, is definatley considered fantasy, and I would suggest not playing it anymore if you currently are for the sake of your immediate future.

Real Life is cool once you have reached the highest levels (i. e. super rich and famous) but the levelgrinding (school, job, etc...) is even more boring than in WoW and doesn´t allow you to reach the highest levels for most of the players.

At least Real life has the best graphics and the best minigames. I´m looking forward for the Metal festival minigames I´m gonna play this summer.:D:D:D:D

WACKEN! IRON MAIDEN LIVE!!!!!!!!

Real Life is indeed supposed to have graphics that are out of this world but I also hear that they are quite bland too, and that the combat sucks, lots of one-shot kills in PvP, which is only made worse by the fact that they actually have perma-death rules in place, and will delete your account when you die. I have heard of players trying to complain about being killed unfairly by haxs and not getting any response.

Its also clear that there is no balancing in place, and character creation is completely random! Some people suspect the devs of favouritism too, since some players seem to get everything they want right from the start.

True. In terms of combat and character creation Real Life is surely the f*cking worst game ever. Also, it is waaaay too hard to play an assassin / thief character because the City Guards were ridiculously buffed and have access to the core data, thus allowing them to find you everywhere, watch everything etc.

Also, the playing fees are much too high unless you happen to know one of the admins.

Big show does not make a good concert make. For example, Kreator had the least dickish behavior, and theirs was a small, in-door show.

Yeah, the corruption amongst the admins there is legendary, surprising that people put up with it.  Some players are blatantly buying gold, or whatever the ingame currency is for Real Life, since they have so much more than anyone else, causing massive inflation.

Due to the death penalities in that game coupled with the fact that almost anything can kill you I'm always afraid to take my character outside, but because they have made playing compulsory these days I don't have much choice.

No. The GLORIOUS, bullet-deflecting MASTER OF ALL never suffers of anything except of the lack of enemies to crush and trample on HIS glorious crusade.

Wow. Check and mate. I don't personally think I could make myself smile when I first get up. It's too hot. I'm too tired. There's only chex mix in the cupboard and no azucar. There's no reason for it. If I think about things that affect other people I'm even more bummed. But I will try it tomorrow.

That makes us completely opposite then. The bedroom window has a towel over it to block out the morning sun. I shoo the cat from my bed. But like I said tomorrow I'll rectify this constant drain... But I'm still not kissing that cat.

You just explained everything. A recent study found that dog owners are more optimistic and positive than cat owners.

We have five cats. That pretty much says everything as well.
