I think keeping it was a good call. It amused me greatly.
Just how useful is dog?

Yeap, Dog showing the benefits of the Flame/Frost weapons (let alone how DOES it work on his teeth anyway?) was an unintentional bug with his body and the visual effect. We decided to keep it as a feature because...
DOG IS A WEAPON.

Good call.
Also, here's a thought: Should the sight of a Mabari war hound, led by none other than a Grey Warden, charging at something WHILE ON FIRE have a status effect?

Hehehe, Bug-to-feature developer stories always make me smile.
My winter wolf/hellhound dog weapon is always welcome in my party.
Currently in: Human Rogue, Morrigan, Sten, Dog
