Try either Safari and Opera? Apart from that, I don't know many. And on a side note, Chrome is heavenly fast right now. At least this version.

Don't use Safari, especially if you're going to be visiting this website! For some reason it keeps logging me out and saying that some error has occured on this website - i switched to Mozilla but it does crash every once in a while, which is annoying. Go for Chrome.

Mine is 4.1.249.1064. You're quite backwards in time :P

Also, I don't believe XP change anything, so long as you have them clean and running well. I have them installed some 9 months now. Defrag each week and regularly check for viruses. Not that it works, since if viruses infect the antivirus, you're screwed anyway...

All I found was wrong with it was that it was dull... ok, what the hell did I just say??

 I'v heard a lot of complaints about chrome (mostly customization) never seen someone call it slow though.

Out of IE, Firefox and Chrome I prefer Chrome, currently trying out Dragon but that is based of Chromium so you will probably have the same problems, but check it out if you feel like it.

The fact it's about as secure as something rather the opposite of secure?

FireFox here.

I'm using Firefox and I don't see myself switching to another browser until there's a NoScript plugin for Chrome.

I've been using Chrome for a while. It's very snappy. And secure - no viruses from using Chrome itself yet, though that might have to do with my zealous use of CCleaner and what not.

the problem with Firefox was that in the last month I had to refresh my pages (over 30) 10 times from the first and that was really pissed me off

Google Chrome is the most superior.  Safest. Fastest. Easiest.  Most Recommended.

Some of the newer versions of firefox have bugs where the pages just don't.. Load.  The only real answer to that is to switch to an older version of firefox until they fix the problem.

I had that issue before. Switched to an older version without the issue, then ended up getting automatically updated to the newest version. I haven't been having that problem since.

I use firefox, the security and customization is what initially attracted me, no-script and adblock plus makes in-page ads and re-directs and such, a thing of the past. I can't compare much though, I've only used IE and FF.

Linux + chromium is a killer combo. Lightning fast and rarely has problems.

Firefox is the best thing out there. Most public schools have adopted it, it runs smooth, and it only crashes if you have a bad computer. Also I can download things way fast with it.

I'm another Firefox user for all the reasons stated. Plus, background themes. :P I switched to Firefox around four years ago. Haven't looked back since. I tried Google Chrome on my parents' computer and while it is faster, I dislike its aesthetics.
