Ending Sequence Trouble

Supposedly, after the ending of the game you can access DLC levels. Specificly, I need to go to soldier's peak to get my stuff out of the trunk before I transfer my save to Awakening. However, I am having trouble loading my save. All I can do now is go to th congratulatory party, watch the ending, adn repeat. How do I get to the point where I can go back to the DLC content?
