okay i was playing through Mass Effect 1 again past week, to get a new char for ME2 and, i played through as a paragon for once, and kept trying to convince saren at points to stop, in the end i got him to snap out of it a bit but he was losing control and shot himself to help us, i was like holy ---- wow o.o then i felt real bad for him...then shep says make sure hes dead, and kaiden goes and caps him. o.0 i was like geez seems like shep'd say go check if hes okay, lol. still had to fight him when soverign took over his body, but that was pretty cool you can get saren to snap outta it for a bit, anyone else have wow moments from either game they didnt notice the first time?
Saren-wtf o.o (and other wtf moments)

The first time I played through ME1, I was being thorough. I listened to Aveena drone on about a piece of "Prothean Art" and the debate about its deeper meaning blah blah blah. After umpteen hours of gaming, I watched the cutscene coming out of the Conduit and failed to put 2 and 2 together. Starting a new game shortly thereafter, it finally clicked as to what the "Prothean Art" was. One of those "oohhhhhhhhh" moments.

i feel dumb for this but in me2 i just now learned you could protect that krogan on omega from assassins and disrupt the balance of omega, and i think if your renegade you can make patriarch try something on aria

The Consort sex scene was like the Titanic sex scene where her hand comes up and smacks into the glass. And wow it was classy, what with your two companions just patiently waiting around the whole time and then they don't even mention it. WTF o_0 haha

I did her favor with Septimus and that thing with the Elcor blackmailing, she gave me coordinates to pick up something. Do I have to return to her after the pickup?

No, I think during that conversation you have to pick the lower-right option, something like, "That's IT??" When she sees you're dissatisfied, she nails you. IIRC.

Go to Septimus, go to the Elcor, then go back to the consort. Complain that the payment is not enough. She'll think of another way to pay you...

No just choose the bottom responses like you would playing a renegade character when you return to get the quest reward. You will be dismissive about her then she will ask you to close your eyes......
