Hey all, might be a stupid question, but I'm wondering if I can leave a town and goto another one instead and come back to the one I'm in later when I'm stronger?
Or will this have some sort of negative effect of the place I'm in ?
Problem is, I'm sick of redcliffe at my current level and I can't seem to proceed further because I just keep dying (and ridiculously easily).
Was thinking I could go to a few other places and get stronger etc and progress the story a bit before coming back to this dump.
Can u leave ur current area??

yes you can leave without worrying about anything. But you can't revisit places once you're done with the game (as in after seeing the ending Credits)
forgot to add Lothering, you can't revisit that place once you leave there.

The game scales, so running off to level up and come back wont really help much regarding making it easier for you.

you can just lower the difficulty if you're finding it too hard on some parts, then switch back again.Unless you're one of those 'Hardcore' gamer that is or if you made some sort of promise to yourself that you won't give up and lower the difficulty no matter how hard it gets.

While it is true that enemies pretty much level with you, it goes without saying that higher level, means more talents as much as attributes, not to mention gear that you may have acquired. It's most certainly "easier", from that point of view. For example, going to Redcliffe with next to zero area of effect spells/abilities, will certainly make your experience, unnecessarily tedious.

Cheers guys,
I don't really want to lower the difficulty, but I think battling elsewhere and getting some more skills etc under my belt and coming back may be of some assistance. At least then I might be able to fight harder, longer and faster.
Went to the Elf place now to hunt around there.
