just bought the game and it is awesome
however, when i restart my pc later on it cannot start no matter how many times i try, and i end up having to do a system restore to before i installed the game
i meet the system reqiurements easily, and all of my drivers are up to date.  i have done a virus scan and nothing came up.  i'm usually good with computers but this has me stumped :s

Read what the bluescreen says, write in on a note, use google. Should solve the problem easily.

not sure what OS you have running but if you right click on "My computer" go to the system properties > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery "settings" button > there should be a setting for "Automatically restart" that you can uncheck.

I'm writiing this in Win7 but XP/Vista has the path to get to this setting sorta similiar

Your Control Panel "System" icon should get you there too.

there is a lil applet you can d/l that will let you read the blue screen dumps at this location:

http://www.nirsoft.n...creen_view.html

You can poke inside the dump files and see if any specific files are the root cause. Most will be hard to decipher as its just a raw memory dump into a file but towards the bottom the dump view you may say what file can possibly be the cause.

If you are having some sort of problems with the OS or game plz contact tech support they can lead u step by step to help you.

I'm very sorry your having problems but I have so little information about your problem its hard to know what to tell you

awesome :)

i downloaded the programme, and apparently the crash was caused by ntkrnlpa.exe, which i've read is something to do with windows. should i turn on automatic updates or something? i have them turned off because an update (possibly service pack 2) buggered my sound up. i'm running vista home premium 32-bit in case i hadn't mentioned that before

Most blue screens are either driver issues (video/sound most likely), or RAM issues. Turning on automatic updates would be a good step forward to finding the problem.

If you google ntkrnlpa.exe about 90% of the results are BSOD and corruption related, it would be wise to take a gander into those too.
