I recently had to format my hard drive and just reinstalled steam and Mass Effect, but for whatever strange reason when I attempt to launch ME, it just....doesn't go. I do not receive an error message, my cursor doesn't turn into a timer, Nothing slows down or crashes, just....I click mass effect and absolutely nothing happens, as though I'd never clicked it at all.



There is no clear indication as to what on earth the problem might be. I've done all the usual things like the verify integrity of game cache option and whatnot, but I've got nothing. It's strange. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Never mind, I had to run steam as an administrator before it would launch mass effect. The issue is solved.
