On an added note: Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 have more exploration than Mass Effect 1 and 2.

I'd rather have Bioware make Mass Effect 3 a game for the fans, not for the game critics. I personnally thought all those 10's out 10 Mass Effect 2 got were a bit overrated.

 right. they're just video games.
Mass Effect (series) is totally fine the way it is... it's pretty ****ing great. Mario Galaxy 2 is likely pretty ****ing great too.

Ah, the complaints on the Super Mario Galaxy 2 GameFAQs forum...

hub world (exploration) removed in favor of more casual map simplistic map??

I really miss the hub world.

Not enough exploration in MG2? Outrageous! Why, they say that as if MG1 had any actual exploration at all!

Now we shall see if people start complaining that MG2 is for kiddies with no attention span compared to MG1.

SMG2 isn't even of the same caliber as ME2. People reviewed SMG2 on a simpler scale, like a handicap scale because it's a Mario game and it wouldn't stand a chance against deeper games like Mass Effect on the same review scale. At least that's what I tell myself because I refuse to believe a Mario game can get such high reviews.



The game is just a series of platform jumping and puzzle solving, woopdy ****ing do. And apparently it's ok the story is the same ****ing thing it has been for the past several years because it's not about the story. Yet other games like Borderlands and Just Cause 2 get ripped apart for a weak story when they have said the game is not about the story. ****ing double standards, it's why I never trust reviewers anymore.

Nintendo does release a whole bunch of bad apples for the Wii (as a developer and publisher). And that's not including WiiWare (yuck).

Ok, Mario Galaxy has been getting 10 reviews so now its time for Bioware to step up the gameplay mechanics. Now yes, Mario is a platformer game. It doesn't matter. Metal Gear Solid 4 got a ten. It is an action, story driven game and it got a ten. Bioware you have had two games with Mass Effect to find the balance and you have listened to your players and you are still experimenting with DLC, but its not enough. Mass Effect 3 must be your greatest achievement in game history. You must make the game a perfect 10. Not one of your testers, game designers, graphic artists, producers, marketing managers, not one of these people must not put their souls into the making of this game. EA must put its soul into this game.

Nintendo put everything last resource into Zelda 64: Ocarina of time and they are a giant. Bioware you a great company who makes games which are fun with great stories with different descisions. Now yes you may have a time line and budget. Well, it doesn't matter. This is Mass Effect 3. The find adventure for shepard. Make him be one of the most unforgettable Characters. Become one of the greatest RPG creators of all times. Make square next wish they never set foot on western soil. Show them how awesome a western RPG could be. Give the people a 10 game and don't ever look back.

Who cares?  Only children and women (and by women, i mean women who aren't gamers...don't come after me please) play the Wii.
