True that, I believed Mass Effect 2 as an 8 as a fan.
RPG ELEMENTS obsolete in ME2

I give it a 9.5 which is what majorty of ME2 got. Simply befcause of the strong gameplay, strong characters and soundtrack, not to mention it was very good in graphics and animanation. Couple of things that sucked about it and the main story was not as good as ME but gameplay and soundtrack trump ME in a big way and I lvoed the characters.

Also that 7.4 (or 7.8?) Nintendo Power gave Pokemon was rubbish, you'd be hard pressed to find a legitimately deeper mainstream JRPG that is also as playable.



Of course today they are almost always the same, hence dwindling review scores. But at least they work, like all of Nintendo games. Polished to near perfection, reviewers always praise that, which they should. KOTOR 2 is one of my favorite games but I would have given it an 8 out of 10.

for some reason Nintendo games like Mario, Zelda or Metroid ever had bugs, I don't know why, they just never do. Thats why there scores are so high, plus there games are just a blast to play.

Me, I never liked Zelda games. I've always found them boring. It seems they don't click for me.

This might be personal, but how old are you, just wondering? Die hard Zelda fans are uselyy 19 or older, tho there are some younger fans, if it's too personal then don't mind me. Reason why is because well I grew up with Zelda, I remember when I played OoT in 1998, it was just a fantastic experince for me.

Comparing the game play of zelda to ME 2. The score is going to be hire of course, but if Bioware takes what Nintendo did and looks at ME 3 in a way that is different and challenging. Plus almost all bug free. It just might be one of the best RPGs every made. It would turn the Mass effect franchise into an entire 10 making 1 and 2 both tens for the sol fact of importing your character. Unfortunately Zelda never had this feature wish I wish it did, but still going from child link to adult link can kind of be considered like an import. Not really, but what the hell and oh yeah everyone please stay on topic and make sure MAss effect is involved with your discussions.
