Why dose the main player the hero....well why dose our player not have a Codex entry?
sorry if this has been posted before I cant seem to fidn a topic on it...
Just seemes strange to me we did all those things in origins and in awkening we don't even get recorded like the other players do...
And in Alistairs codex it dose not even metion he married the human noble, also why is the dogs name not mentioned?
did the dog die after the big battle with the dragon or what?
whats your view on this?

Dalira Montanti has a very good point (and Avatar) I think, the Codex is helpful in many regards if you read it, but I want my own as well. Although I would be annoyed at it for my Mage:

-Summoned a high dragon without knowing what the Horn of Kolgrim was
-Likes fried potatos and onions!
If we could write some of sure, but It may bug people a little bit if it is a biased codex like some come off as. You could write a bio for your Sims in the Sims 2 if I remeber, but being 15 most of them were quite immature and crude to say the least. But still here is hoping for DRAGON AGE 2!

My name comes from the fact in multiplayer games I laugh alot when I am winning (see Dr Evil JR.)
But the main reason I think is that you can fill in your prehistory in dialouge and not through plot points for some Origins:
CE and Mages get to define where they came from and things about their family by answering questions.
DN and HN get their bio decided on by plot events.
If we could have a bio system I want it narrated by Morgan Freeman!

Not right now, but we just have to wait for the expansion or sequel next spring.
Importing a naked charachter into Awakening with only a dagger because starfang/blooddragon armor didnt come along is annyoing, but funny by the way. Word to the wise Awakening is so not worth the 35 bucks i paid.
