At First maybe. Rocket Troopers? No. My point is that the only smart way to take out Missile Turret with minimal damage is from a distance. Rocket troopers and any other infantrymen that used rocket were less of a problem. Sometimes I would kill them at range other times I would just run them over.KitsuneRommel wrote...

On What? The Mako didn't have missiles and the only missiles in ME1 were fired by Geth Rocket Troopers and Missile turrets. They weren't guided at all but they did their job of keeping you at bay or from doing anything stupid as far I'm concerned.
They did? Did you ever feel threatened by them?
However, My main point stands: There are risks in engaging enemies with anti-armor weapons in closer quarters when you are operating an IFV/MBT. This is regardless of whether it is a Light infantryman or another armored vehicle. If you have a superior number of enemies (again regardless of what class of enemy) that have anti-armor weaponry gunning for you, engaging them up close is foolish. It is true in real life and I think ME1 did a good job of showing that.
Modern Urban warfare some say has made Tanks obsolete since the are vulnerable to Guerrila warfare tactics. Which is why I would like to see an Urban warfare setting for vehicle play in ME3.
