A spoiled, glory seeking scion of the Cousland family. He was quickly forced to wise up after his family and then Duncan were violently taken from him. Still loves to fight, and does so honorably, but will avoid combat with his silver tongue if he can. Is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, with minimal risk to his allies. For instance, rather than risk Morrigan's safety being sent into the Fade alone, he elected to kill Connor.

1. Had a crush on Morrigan the moment he met her. Her mystique and the air of confidence and power about her won him over immediately. The plentiful side-boob didn't hurt, either.



2. Exchanges respek knuckles/brofists and chest bumps with Alistair, Ohgren, and Zevran after particularly successful battles. The rest of the party generally roll their eyes, but it at least gets a smirk out of Morrigan, a smile out of Wynne, and laughter from Leliana.



3. Was jealous of Fergus courting Oriana as a youngster, and attempted to sabotage the union numerous times.



4. He has something of a fetish for dwarven women.



5. He is not certain from where his Reaver powers originate. He didn't learn them from Kolgrim (achievements lawl), and they only began to surface after the first time he and Morrigan made love.

I don't have a 'main' Warden, but here's a bio of one of them that felt most real while playing.

Name: Tyr (I forget the city elf last name, it's been that long since I played one)

1. Was fascinated by stories of the Dalish growing up, and wanted to run away from the Alienage to join them. He got facial tattoos to emulate them, and was mortified to learn when he actual encountered the Dalish that his tattoo design wasn't genuine Dalish.



2. Was actually looking forward to his wedding, though he pretended he wasn't.



3. When he was sent to Vigil's Keep, he brought a sprig of Andraste's Grace with him to remind him of Leliana.



4. Was relieved when Morrigan told him she would leave with the baby and never wanted to see him again. He'd already broken up with her to be with Leli, but she kept coming back like a bad stain.



5. Eventually regretted wiping out the werewolves. At the time he was still caught up in the 'humans that rape elves must be punished mode', but later came to see that he was wrong.

1. A black sheep to his family and other nobles, but loves "slumming" with the commenors around Highever, and showing off his bow to the ladies.



2.Very easy going and sarcastic, not a serious person at all, unless he has to be, plus the very idea of marriage makes him sick.



3.The one lesson that stuck in his head from his childhood, was a Noble's duty to the people they had to protect, when he became a warden he saw that as meaning all people in Ferelden, leading to constant childish spats with Morrigan.



4.After getting the real Grimiore he read it before handing it to Morrigan, so he knew about the Sacrifice, and that is why he spared Loghain



5.Puts his feet up on most tables, to the annoyance of everyone

1. He hates the word "justice" because so many people who want revenge hide their desires behind that word--he himself much prefers mercy. Whenever someone like Zathrian starts talking about their desire for revenge as "justice" it really boils his blood.



2. Somewhat related to the above, but he pretty much spared just about everyone there was an option to spare (except for the slaver, but only because he didn't seem to regret his actions). He allied with the Architect in Awakening and made Loghain a Grey Warden, eventually even becoming Loghain's friend.



3. He's secretly a terrible romantic (and very much in love with Leliana) and a Yuri Fanboy--not mainly because it's hot but because he sees something particularly sweet about two girls in love.



4. He has a keen tactical mind and natural generalship abilities, which first show themselves in the first place the party goes after leaving Lothering, Redcliffe, where he helps to plan out the defenses against the attacking zombies.



5. His character is heavily influenced by the character of Simon from Gurren Lagann and because of that, I imagine him with Yuri Lowenthal's voice. Also as a reference to the influence, Taiyama occasionally points to the heavens and uses the catch-phrase "Who the hell do you think I am?!"

1. Slept with everyone in camp that he could, after years of doing the same thing in the Tower. Those Templars aren't as stern as they seem, and yet, Alistair is. Damn.

2. Will kill anyone who addresses him as 'Elf.' Is still considering killing Leliana.

3. Believes that Andraste was a Mage. Wishes he could follow in her footsteps and start his own religion. It's harder than it sounds.

4. Is slightly obsessed with fire. Slightly. Ok, he's a pyromaniac and likes to burn things and Greagoir hated him for it but Irving always found it slightly amusing. Teammates complain about his placement of Infernos, but they always live through it. Usually.

5. Used to think he really loved Zevran, but then discovered he just has a thing for Rogues. (Yes, Nathaniel, that DOES please me. DO IT AGAIN!)



Narasimhath Cousland

1. Is secretly still in love with Morrigan. Did not let her do the Dark Ritual because he was worried about what would happen to her. Died proud and happy.

2. Is living proof of how and why Cousland traits keep popping up in unrelated families all over Fereldan. I said in love with, not faithful to....

3. Thought about marrying Anora for about 4 seconds. Went drinking with Oghren immediately afterwards to clean the dirty taste away.

4. Sometimes uses the Dog as a pillow.

5. Can't stand listening to Leliana's prattle. Hates shopping. Has no problem with ugly, serviceable shoes.

- One of her motivations in saving Ferelden is so that the Alienage children can play games pretending to be her in the future.
- Was highly conflicted over her feelings for Alistair, particularly after finding out he was Maric's son - human + noble didn't sit well with her. She stuck with him only because she thought making him King could help the city elves. During this period she started having relations with Zevran. Eventually gave in to her romantic feelings for Alistair again.
- Is constantly tormented by the memories of killing Shale in the Anvil of the Void. Occasionally cries herself to sleep while attempting to make herself believe that it was necessary, and failing. On a similar note, she sided with Bhelen predominantly on the fact he was planning to marry a casteless woman.
- While imprisoned in the Fade she drew the attention of a Spirit of Authority (Auctoritas), which persisted in contacting her through dreams. This relationship is the root of her Spirit Warrior specialisation, which manifested during the battle with the Archdemon (thanks to the Awakening-in-the-OC mod).
