3- Was a friend of Alistair, but after he spared Loghain, Alistair told him he felt betrayed. Well, the feeling is mutual, Alistair.
4- Informed Anora of intent to stalk Morrigan after defeating the blight. Fearing for her life, she
neglected to inform the authorities.
5- In Awakening, misses Dogmeat terribly.

1) Ardent atheist. Never believed anything the Chantry said, but pays lip service to be accepted. And loves Leliana in spite of her beliefs.
2) Always thought herself a lesbian until that night with Leliana, Isabela and Zevran. The happenings in camp have Morrigan rolling her eyes.
3) Can't stop apologising to Leliana, Alistair and Morrigan over that one time she caused all three grevious injuries on her first casting of Storm of the Century.
4) Is unsure of her feelings of blood magic. She forgives Jowan for his actions, and sees that it may occasionally be necessary, but refuses to know anything of it herself. She still knows that the Chantry may not look kindly on her routinely partially entering the Fade to swing her sword, but sees these skills as necessary to her survival.
5) Doesn't know anything of where she came from... but the Chantry does. While hunting for a blood mage, they happened across a village under attack from darkspawn. There was one elven family of three hired as farmhands, and all but the recently-born baby were taken by the darkspawn. Upon realising the child was a magic-sensitive, she was taken... and was never told, especially not of the fact that the village was later all killed in the dead of night by shrieks - which had never been seen in that village before.

Born into a Teryn's family, Ashley has been forced to keep the secret of his magical tendancies all of his life.  While his close family knows and protects him, he is constantly fearful someone might find out and thus bring shame upon his family.  When Duncan arrived at the Cousland castle, Ashley was relieved, seeing it as a way out of his hiding his true nature, however Arl Howe made his move before Ashley could convince his father otherwise.  While the common folk were easy to fool by wearing outragous attire befitting his homosexualality, Ashley's other group mates knew immediately that he was a mage, despite his protest that the dresses were just part of his alternative taste in partners.


1.  Ashley was born as George Cousland, but as soon as he was old enough to realize his sexuality, requested that his name be changed to Ashley.

2. Ashley was 'enjoying' the company of Darrien the night Arl Howe attacked the Cousland castle, and cried for him - along with his mother and father - on the way to Ostagar.

3.  Ashley is great friends with Leliana, but because of obvious gender differences, will never be 'partners' with her.  He does enjoy shopping with her and enjoys a frilly, fashionable shoe himself. 

4. Ashley has a huge crush on Alistair, and has been carefully cultivating a relationship with him, encouraging him to experiment and go where his feelings lead him.  Ashley hopes that soon this will turn into a solid relationship in which he becomes 'queen' of Fereldon.

5. Ashley and Morrigan can't stand each other - Ashley believes this is due to that fact that he wants nothing to do with her on a physical level, therefore Morrigan can't use her sexuality against him, side boob or not.

Edit: Warrior - Dual Wield

1. Is a really trusting soul. She refused to believe that Tristan wanted her dead and was dumbfounded when Behlen betrayed her.

2. Never really embraced the whole noble thing. Although she was willing to do her duty as an Aeducan, she was surprised to find out just how much she enjoyed the freedom she had on the surface as a grey warden.

3. Could totally relate to Alistair not wanting to be king. Between this and his charming, quirky personality she found her self falling head over heels with this guy. They just have so much fun together!

4. Was happy that Gorim found a life on the surface. She also felt incredibly guilty for not going back to Orzamar with him. Oh well. Its more his thing than hers.

5. Really enjoys Sigrun's company. For the first time in her life she has a friend who wasn't constantly trying to get her to introduce them to her noble brothers. Now if she can just keep Sigrun from disappearing in the deep roads...

1. Curious to a fault, which brought to some questionable decisions (in the eyes of some superficial Fereldan nobles, at least).

2. Wanted people to look past her background as a late teryn's daughter by trying to empathize with the different walks of life in Thedas - figuring out how someone ticks (through questioning, flirting, etc) feeds her curiousity 

3. Despite being a warrior, she makes an effort to dress up in important occasions such as a landsmeet. It's all thanks to the mantra "It is expected of Teryn Cousland's daughter to be at her best" which was tacked to her memory as a child.

4. Being called "pup" by her father is a pet peeve of hers; however she is too polite to show it when facing her parents.

5. Doesn't know whether she should feel lucky to have tempting men in her presence. Oghren does not count, sorry.

1. Knows next to nothing about his parentage although there was a joke around the circle tower that he was the child of Chasind shamans because of his dark features. The idea grew on him so much he got his tattoo because of it.



2. He was always very interested in magic that was outside of the Circle's control and apostates in general.



3. Learned blood magic from documents he found while investigating the tower (it's true! he never made any deal with any demons, I promise!) in the hopes that he might understand it better.



4. Out of his concern of the lore that the dalish clan in the Brecilian forest would lose, he did not force Zathrian to end the curse and instead slew Witherfang. He still feels uneasy about this decision, however.



5. Had a brief fling with Morrigan but felt that they were better as friends (especially after when Zevran showed up) and they remained so until Morrigan left.

                 Alice Cousland is a very kind and strong person who can hide her feelings very well. She always shows mercy to those she thinks deserve it. She always tries to do what is right. And although she is kind she often can act tough and uses intimidation on others who get in her way of doing good. She tries to help everyone in anyway she can.She is a very selfless person. She wants to be the hero that saves the day. In the begining she was very depressed that her family was murdered but as the days passed she grew stronger and made the Blight her priority instead of revenge.She is also fearless and is very confident in her skills.

6. She secretly hates Morrigan. Everytime she dissaproves of her good deeds Alice yells in her head "no one cares what you think Morrigan!" and then she recruits Wynne and Morrigan stays at camp for a very long time >>

Maren started out as the dutiful daughter of Eleanor Cousland, a strong woman like her mother but not one with aspirations of becoming a warrior, Grey Warden, or any other sort of hero. Circumstances and Arl Howes treachery turned her plans on their ear, and she found herself a Grey Warden before she knew what hit her.



Although she started out as the 'diplomatic' sort who preferred words and wits over weapons, she soon found that she was an uncannily skilled killer of darkspawn, particularly when using her two dalish knives although she was deadly with the longbow as well. She struck up an immediate friendship with Leliana, a kindred spirit, from whom she learned the rudiments of being a bard. Of course, her natural gifts ensured that she would soon surpass her teacher in these skills, and she did, although this led to no rancor between them.



Maren enjoyed a brief affair with Alistair, but after sampling life on the road as a bard she had no true desire to tie herself to court or become queen consort of Ferelden. It was with a bit of relief that she let Alistair go to find his destiny, leaving her free to pursue her own, particularly after Fergus Cousland was found alive after the defeat of the archdemon. (She also maneuvered Alistair into the Dark Ritual with Morrigan- after learning the secrets of becoming a Warden, something she had never wanted in the first place, she didn't feel it was fair to have to sacrifice her own life or Alistair's when there was an escape hatch. Selfish of her but perhaps understandable...)



As Commander of the Grey, Maren briefly ruled Amaranthine with a fair and even hand, but was more than happy to give up the mantle of command and move on once the Architect and the Mother were defeated, and the Darkspawn threat abated. She packed up her musical instruments, knives, and longbow before striking out for Orlais, to rejoin her friend Leliana for more adventures and to see her friend's adopted homeland....

1. is curious about Leliana (), but her seeming intolerance of other religions is a point of constant irritation. she would have no problem with her, if she just kept her mouth shut about the Maker more often. sees alistair as an idiotic, slacking zealot. feels somewhat sympathetic for Morrigan, both being "wilders", if you will. this run, Zevran will probably charm his way into her life (and tent ), but he's no Tamlen.

2. between Hahren paivel's stories growing up and Leliana's stories at camp, she's going to become quite the "storyteller" herself. when Anora grants the Dalish their own land, being somewhat inspired by the Legion of the Dead, she begins her own Elven Legion to protect their new home (my justification for taking Legion Scout in Awk ).

3. during her Grey Warden travels, earns the nickname "The Dark Wolf", for various reasons.

4. I can see a "sis-mance" between her and Sigrun in Awk (such a BA dwarf ) I see them going down to the deep roads together for their Calling, cutting gigantic swaths through the 'spawn ranks.

1. Thinks the Chantry is a load of bull. Andraste was a woman who freed Ferelden from the Tevinter Imperium. Any involvement from the Maker simply means that the woman was clearly a few McDonalds' short of a Happy Meal.



2. Despite her dislike of the Chantry, believes that the Templars and the Circle are needed. Would rather the Templars were an autonomous organization that wasn't addicted to Lyrium, though. Also would like to see Mage's have the privilege of leaving the Tower after their Harrowing, as they've proven themselves capable of resisting demons. Though she does admit that Templars should still be on hand in case they slip. Avernus was scary enough, thank you very much.



3. Was never very interested in elven history until she became an Arcane Warrior. Is now obsessed with it, in hopes of reviving the order. Could still care less about every other aspect of it.



4. Once had a fascinating conversation with Sten. To this day, she still has no idea what it was about.



5. Absolutely despises healing magic. Would rather hobble through a battle with a broken leg than let anyone heal her, as she believes it to be a horrid invasion of privacy. Plus, if you can't hurt things with it, what's the point?

1) Wants to be King and will stack the bodies as high as necessary for that to happen.
2) In regards to Anora he is looking foward to strapping a saddle on that phillie and taking her for a ride. She will be rode hard and put away wet, but satisfied. In any case the shrew will be tamed.
3) Will regain his family's holdings and parley his position into one of power, is not impressed by anyone or anything. Looked at the AD at the end and asked "So this is what all the fuss is about, an over grown lizzard? Come here nose picker i have a real nice blade i want to show you up close and personal like."
4) Thinks Anora is hot, and believes whole heartedly that "its good to be the king". Now where is that ****** boy?
5) Leaves his enemies dead, his women satisfyied, and his glass empty when the days work is done.
