I've finished Warden's Keep, but in my journal I still have an active quest for it. The text says that I've almost solved the mystery of the Dryden family, but need to find one last clue.

Since I've finished the keep, I can't go back inside. I've spoken with both Dryden brothers.

Is this something that I had to finish before finishing the keep proper? Or will I encounter the answer later through regular play?

You missed one of the Codex entries or something else inside the keep, possibly the painting that hides the sword? Either way, I don't think you can get back inside.

Did you look at the statue outside the keep up on the ramparts? Go up the path to the left after entering the main gate. Check out the statue at the end.

And yeah, if you can't get back inside the keep, you are through. C'est la vie.

if you can't get back in the quest can't be finished if u missed the statue outside.

As above, if you've left you can't get back in but for future playthroughs, there is an entry in the mage's room at the end, when you go into the room the first time he'll talk to you so you'll have to go back after he is dealt with, there is a codex entry and a few other things lying around the room.

2. Book on the floor in the room just before you go up the stairs

3. Jar of jam sitting on the shrine

4. Impaled guy on the wall in the final room



I had the most trouble finding #3 because of how small it was, and it didn't look out-of-place.

My last piece was a painting above a fireplace in the room before the bridge.

Hold down the TAB key and it will highlight all useable/actionable items in a room, or willds etc etc.

First playthrough I missed one, I found them all last night on playthrough 2. I had missed the hanging corpse in the Mage area.

Ive collected the 3 clues and onto the painting. However, it does not show as targetable for me. Am I missing the obvious?

4 clues. Statue, Book, Jam Jar and Corpse.

Does this require a age with a fire blast attack? I read somewhere that "A flamethrower solves everything"...

Will I ever learn any more Power of blood spells? I've learnt 2 of them, and that old blood mage said he'd contact me when he progresses with the research, but I'm kinda locked out of the keep:/

I also found all four clues, but could not find the stash. The painting over the fireplace does not highlight with "tab"

After coming up the stairs (on 2nd level - same as Shrine area with jam clue), above fireplace is the painting. Hover over it and there is an eye which will allow you to initiate the dialog that gives you the "stash." There should be an option to recite the Warden's Oath if all is well. Hope this helps.

Not sure if this is the same 'stash' you're looking for (few pieces of gold?) but now in my 2nd run-through as Blood Mage, I tricked the possessed grandma Warden (tired, forget her name) to tell me where a secret stash of money was; it's beside the fireplace.



I completely forgot about the BW TAB thing. Used to use it with NWN. Started using it again tonight with Summoning Science quest. Can't believe I forgot that one -- how much stuff did I miss?!?
