the Bloodthirst ability drains 12 health every 2 seconds

Lifegiver ring (on console) gives +6 combat health regen.....is that per second? meaning, does that offset the Bloodthirst damage??

I don't think its per second, but find a couple more items like that and you can probably offset it (enough) to activate it at the start of combat.
