Hello,

I am trying to make a plot updates like the main plots of the bioware game, (such as lost in dreams in the Circle of Magi group)

I set up my plots in a chain ( Plot Group -> Plot -> Plot) using parent - child plots.

The last plot file of the chain never seems to update. I've been trying to figure it out for a while, using debug scripts to set each step of the plots.

I've remade each of the plot files from scratch 3 times to make sure it wasn't the plot GUID bug.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What exactly do you mean when you say "last part of the chain never seems to update"?

Does the SetPlot function call fail? Or does the journal entry not show up? Or do you have some other work that needs to be done when the flag is set and that is not working?

I'm setting it with a script for debug purposes.



the last plot file doesn't show up in journal. I'll do a test to see if its actually getting set. sec.

it started working... not sure why. oh well ... I'm Happy

It is happening to me now. I am not sure why, but it looks like it has to do with the exporting process (I receive the message "invalid parent plot" or "could not validate parent plot" in the console). It is solved after creating a new parent plot and selecting it in the child plots again.
