I saved my game last night after killing Flemmeth and giving the Grimoire to Morrigan in the Party Camp last night, now when i load any savegame i still have the Grimoire in my inventory but i can't give it to Morrigan, can't leave any area, can't give gifts and none of my characters Including my main will attack anything unless i keep clicking on the monster. I've tried reloading the game and rebooting my pc but it's just not letting me do anything on either of my characters :\\
Can't leave party camp, select party, give gifts etc :s

you may be able to try loading a previous save, like an autosave, which might work. might have to restart a new game, and if it is still broke then...reinstall. (still broke after that...cant help ya, lol.)

ok well i've just tried a total reinstall on my pc and i still can't do anything, it's doing the same thing on all my savegames, even tried copying the character data to my laptop but it does exactly the same thing.
Clicking on New Game just gives me a "Could not load Module" error. The only thing that was different before i ran the game today was that i installed the ToolSet which i've since uninstalled, tho it didn't make a difference.

Did you open up the toolset and try to play around with anything? The problem with the toolset is it loads your single player campaign up when you open it the first time; if you don't be careful you could damage your game files, and then comes the complicated part of fixing the problem.

I've just encountered this bug aswell on one of my characters, I got stuck in the village of haven, can't leave the area, the main character is no longer auto-attacking(only step by step commands), can't open level up screen or do anything else...
None of the saves work so far, this is my 2nd playthough I have 30h+ in it and I'd be really pissed to have to start over.

Danien I did play around with the toolset before my last game session but didn't really alter anything, just tried creating a new module and doing some of the area tutorials. Tried to export to see if I could play, I was missing a few things and I dropped it and went back to playing the game.
It shouldn't have any effect right? I mean you can't overwrite original campaign stuff.

Using the toolset has had some minor to serious adverse effects for a number of users on the forums. Caveat Emptor for now.
There is a way to fix them without reinstalling...
1) Load toolset, goto tool > export > Empty Export Directories
2)
FIND:
Windows XP: My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules
Delete anything called single player
3)
FIND
Windows XP: My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules\\\\single player\\\\override
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules\\\\single player\\\\override
Delete anything in this folder
4)
FIND:
Windows XP: My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\override
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\override
Delete anything in this folder

have you tried a complete uninstall of both, making SURE you delete all the related game folders, including bioware folder from user/documents place. then installing only DA:O.KhaneX wrote...

Some problem, also, can you not start the first line of a thread with a spoiler without saying *spoiler*. thanks.
