The genlock alpha wrenched his blade free from the chest of a sputtering Warden. The darkspawn commander had alone survived the skirmish in the valley. For every human corpse floating in the water there were three genlocks. The alpha trudged up through the red and black sludge that covered the shore of the stream. There were so many dead, the bodies piled so high, there wasn't a spot in sight on which you could rest your foot without being ankle-deep in gore.

The alpha scrambled up the side of the valley, following the trail of dead and dying darkspawn. About a mile in the distance the second detachment of his warband was being ambushed yet again by Antivan bandits. He could smell the blood being spilt even from this distance.

The Antivans backed away from their commander. Even after all their time spent training alongside him it was difficult to comprehend just how dangerous he was. A ring of dismembered bodies formed a semicircle around him. To his left and right there were dozens more darkspawn, each of them looking between their allies and the assassin before them. A hurlock, sensing an opening, dove at the masked killer, only to have his neck caught between two blades. His head was removed from his body with a swift scissoring action.

Here and there genlocks turned from the fight, abandoning their position and retreating away from the group. Some ran for hours, some for days. But all along their journey away from Ferelden they were haunted, hunted warriors. Dark shapes flitted around them in the branches of the trees, only to disappear when looked for. Every so often they'd find some sign of danger: A burn mark in the foilage, an arrow in a tree. They'd strayed too close to a Dalish camp and yet they ignorantly tumbled through the overgrowth, oblivious to what awaited them at the end of the road on which they traveled.

The Templars had rebuffed yet another darkspawn attack, their once-glittering shields of silver had been dulled with black ichor. At their commander's order they took aggressive postures and advanced on the line of darkspawn that had formed up across the street. They'd heard rumors that dwarves from Orzammar were on the way to lend aid, but with each passing hour their hopes grew dimmer.

The Master Assassin does enough damage to drop each of the other heroes to 1 life.
The Templar Commander deals 2 damage to the Dalish Elves.
The Dwarven paragon deals 2 damage to the Blight.
The Keeper heals the Dalish by 5.
The Archdemon deals 1 damage to every other team and puts a B token on every other team.

Does the random event not remove some of the X's. I realize that just means that some fairy in black will stab me again, but the blight plays fair (unlike the fawning alliance).

Just saying that, ya, I'm up for the alliance. I've been for it since the Grey Wardens were only 2 members and the darkspawn were charging them faster than a hyper toddler who just drank a liter of espresso.

With all the B tokens, makes me wish the Templars still had their cleanse ability... stupid B tokens... *grumble...dorkspawn...grumble*

Plus Fox, a Templar, attacked the archdemon while blighted killing the archdemon and causing 3 damage to the Templars.
