Yeah, I've noticed the same with with the DN, even the fanfics! It's often 'Oh noes! My brother is dead, my other brother tried to kill me, and my dad apparently doesn't care! My family life SUCKS and I can never go back home. Ah, well, I never liked Orzammar anyway. Oh look! A TREE! I heart the Surface!' They will take a break from not caring sometimes to kill Bhelen but then it's right back to admiring the sky.
