... but I don't think the movie will happen.  Too many games are supposed to be made into movies... and never appear. 

Besides... if it did happen... we would get a crappy movie game released at the same time.  Who wants that?  PLus, these days Hollywood likes to infest safe (sequils, established well known franchises...).  The gaming world is untested territory (I can think of resident evil, tomb raider... but also mortal combat and street fighter... ewww). 

That being said, the ME universe would be a cheap sci-fi franchinse to buy into (as compared to star wars or Star Trek), that has a quality universe and story to start a story with. 

Part of me would like to see Shepard in the story... and the other part of me knows they would ruin it (or we would... because we think we know how characters will act, or what they should look/sound like).
