How does one go about making a standard .mor into a preset for the ingame Chargen?

1. Open your .mrh file in the DA toolset
2. Select item number 14 (Export settings) in the Object Inspector (see picture) and change the status to "True"
3. Tools > Export > Post to Local
4. Go to where the new .mop file was saved and rename it accordingly (ex: female elf preset #1: cps_ef_p01.mop)
5. Place the file in my documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override

Are you looking to change an .mrh into a preset? Or a .mor file (with no provided mrh) files into a preset?

If it's the first, the above method will work.

If you don't have an .mrh file, you pretty much can't make a preset with just a .mor file.

I'm sorry, yes, I got my file extensions mixed up. I do know that you can set a .mor file as the face morph of a pre-exisiting character, but altering it would probably be limited to things like hair style, hair color, eye color, etc.
