Typical Americans.
1. No one would give a s**t if the movie wouldn't end up influencing the game, which it will.
2. There aren't too many americans posting at this hour, it's too late over there.

If they can evoke that with an ME movie then it will have another fanbase, after all, Renegade Shep definetly reminds one of Nathan Fillion playing Malcolm.
As for how this will effect ME3, One of you needs to explain to me exactly how a movie based on the first ME would make 'huge changes' on the final game of the series?

Too many games/comic/anime that I love have been irreversably tainted by cheap money grabbing movie adaptation, but as long as they don't reference Shepard or her exploits in any way then i'm not too bothered about them making a Mass Effect movie, i'll either watch it or not depending on how much it cost to make, who directs it, who's in it and wether it actually looks any good.
If Shepard is mentioned though, then I just won't go anywhere near it. It won't be my Shepard so why should I give a ****?
( And didn't Bioware say that they would never do anything to contradict the fact that it's our own personal Shepard going through the ME series? So far they havn't been too bad on that front, so maybe there's hope yet. )

Many of Shepard's renegade lines are ripped from various movies, actually... so yes.

I'm going to assume that you quoted the wrong post there.
( Either that or i'm just not getting your point. )

It's not like they would strip away your ability to make choices in the games because a movie came out.
Seems like some people actually believe that.

If its story is based exactly on ME1's events then treat the movie as someone doing their own playthrough of ME1.

I didn't put this in the original topic cause I want to be heard. This is not what Mass Effect is. ME1 was the best game i ever played. It had that magic to it, now I hate it. And don't tell me otherwise because you are wrong. This ticks me off something awfull.
How do you feel? Make a couple more new threads about this same thing, I don't want this "movie" to happen. I don't want it to be ruined for me.
Nobody's forcing you to see the movie, wow. Chill and just forget about it while the rest of us enjoy the news.

It's a metaphor for "dont say my opinion is ****e" I care about yours. Even if you want the movie. I want YOUR opinion and a post that isn't a waste of time and space, don't critizing mine or others just ask..."what you mean bro!?"
...discuss please.

Well I did say it was not bad. So I did like it for the most part. It was a different take on the little plumbers in a colorful world of weird cute critters. Its been a long time since its been on tv now that I think about it. Should get the dvd.
Not bad = something I’d watch again any day of the week.

You hate the game you love because you're annoyed the creators are planning a movie? Grow up kid.

I don't care. I'll wine, ****, sream and moan. I don't like the idea of it. If you don't like something, you speak your mind. It created my own little world this game (ME1 and Drew's books). It will ruin my appetite for playing the game. Why? Because I have this thought in the back of my head halfway through Noveria and thinking "there's a movie of this." For me and not you it takes away some of the magic of the unknown space adventure I witnessed while playing...
And turns it into a space adventure I witnessed with a MOVIE and these selfish beasts walking around everyday on these forums polluting this site, who don't even understand what Jonh Lennon gave to us or why is the city of angels so hell bent on destroying it's female population and then I wonder..."why in the hell am I even agrueing with you?" I will complain and wine because that's what we all do anyway, so for the sake of agrument and for you to win this...hence my loathing. Don't post here unless you have something worth while to post.

What about a movie just from the ME universe? The events from the game could be just mentioned etc.
Main plot = Story of Saren Arterius how he became a Spectre, or about Captain Anderson´s career ?
