"At BioWare, we’ve always thought of Mass Effect as having the depth, emotion and plot twists perfectly suited for an adaptation to a motion picture,” said Casey Hudson, executive producer of the Mass Effect series.

What really makes Mass Effect a good basis for movie-making is its rigid adherence to authored narrative and lack of in-game choices.
Both of those descriptions are true. Is there anything particularly wrong with that?
And I'm honestly surprised that there are still people who think male Sheapard is not being treated as canon. When you catch a kid with his hand in the cookie jar, and that kid adamantly claims he's not taking cookies, do you believe that he's not taking cookies? Male Shepard has always been canon.
The bolded part makes me laugh SO damn hard in light of David Erikson claiming other types of RPGs aren't RPGs...
Double fracking standard Bioware! I'm a huge fan of yours, will probably buy all of your games but the GALL of giving us
choices and then publicly stripping it away is hilarious at best.
We make role playing games with visceral content but in reality we give you NOTHING. You are no better then other companies in that regard especially when it comes to ME. I hope to never read about any of your employees make retarded statements again or I'm going to spit in your general direction whenever I hear you tout about CHOICES.
/anger off:devil:
edit: To the person responding to me about how WE'd download the movie illegally and watch it anyway. Hmm no I mean what I say. I'll never watch this if it's about Shep in any way what so ever.
I could seriously care less about what 90% of what sheep will do, I'm letting BioWare know that as a fan, I'm not a on board with what I said. They can give a crap, or not, either way they'll make money. I still won't touch it and I will tell why to anyone who wants to hear it.
