TiM: Yo Shepard, I herd u like your voice so we gave EDI your voice so you talk with yourself while not talking with yourself.GothamLord wrote...
But who would voice EDI in the second movie then... assuming it got that far??? Hearing Shepard talk to herself would be very...odd.
Problem solved:P
I always play a as Male Shepard, cuz it just makes more sense (for me atleast), but I support this idea, especially if they make her romance Liara:wizard:

And the only female Shepard in the movie should be... his baby sister. Aw well, they might have The Infamous Broma.. err.. Sheps Brother in the movie... now, which of the twins would say:
"I'm the pretty one!"

I havent really commented on the Whitfield suggestions yet. Andy was born in '74, so he'd be 38 if filming beings in 2012 at the earliest. So I dont know. He's pushing the 40 mark before the movies even kick off. I watched the first three episodes of Spartacus: Blood and Sand before I was ready to shoot myself. Not going to blame him for that though. I just think its an awfully written show. I cant say I've seen him in much else though. The age concerns me, as do his recent health problems. Best of luck to him with the remission.

Aw well, I wouldn't know about his age and condition. But I suggest you watch the rest of the series. It's a hell of a good one and as I agree with you on its start... it could only get better and it does get a lot better!
From all I've read, Final Fantasy movie was the best game translation and they had no real actors in it. ME could be done the same way. After all, who better to play Shepard than... Shepard!

Now, because of the fact that the list is separated into 3 pages (96, 98, & 99), I've decided to put the three sections of the list together. The list is the ME movie cast. I think he'd be great. People keep complaining about age but Robert Downey got into the Iron Man series late and he'll probably be 50 before he's out of it...hollywood has a talent for keeping people looking young...
as for Spartacus...you HAVE to watch the rest of the series, everyone thought the first 3 to 4 episodes sucked, including myself, but I was bored so i finished the series and it was worth it! It's one of my favorite shows of all time now, it picked up so quickly at episode 5. Really a spectacular series. Andy's having cancer treatments so they are holding off on season two, but they're putting out a prequel mini-series in the down time...

A cast of relatively unknown (but talented actors)... yes, there are plenty out there.
or
That the film is an animated feature, in which case voice talent can use whoever they want.
Whenever I try to picture "star" actors/actresses playing characters in from games or books, even when one I think might suit the role is selected, I'm invariably left feeling dissapointed with how they play the role.
As for the storyline, I would be happier with something that's a prequel to the current game series. Think about it... it introduces both viewers who know the game, plus those who don't but like the look of the movie, to the universe and setting of the story itself.
The core of the story is really about humanity and it's role in galactic society. Why not do it from the point of humanity's "discovery" of the bigger picture.

Besides, Mass Effect is too similar to Star Wars, do you really think it'll be a hit?
Also, Arnie would make a better Harbinger. "Iam da harbinga of yo deeeestiny."

Besides, Mass Effect is too similar to Star Wars, do you really think it'll be a hit?
I'm not so sure, after all, they did geet through making Halo Legends (though it's animated). Plus, if they've announced it they already have a deal (which Halo the Movie also has, but still). I really hope they're going to make a movie, heck I don't even care if it's low-budget, I've seen tons of low-budget movies that are great.Though a big budget and really making it would be the best ^^
Mass Effect and Star Wars are waaaay different. Saying they're the same is like saying Harry Potter and the Twilight saga is the same thing (just and example).

I hope so, but didn't they restarted it? M$ has the money for a AAA Halo movie and I'm sure they'll be willing to pay for it now, These are the eyes of Bill when he noticed Halo's popularity: $_$, hell they even made 343 IndustriesCra5y Pineapple wrote...
I think this is gonna be put on hold like the Halo movie.

Also, Arnie would make a better Harbinger. "Iam da harbinga of yo deeeestiny."
We know that EA, just as M$, lacks a sould so they WILL be tryting to milk ME as much as they can,
Mass Effect: Pro Street- a race game with the MAKO, has multiplayer
Mass Effect: Bad Comapny- a FPS that tells a story about a squad of Alliance Marines that chase after eezo after going AWOL, has multiplayer
Mass of Honor- A FPS about the Shepadr's War hero background, has a multiplayer
FIFA Effect A football game, but it's played in zero G, has multiplayer
Mass Effect: The Godfather- A sandbox game on earth, you're a criminal, has multiplayer
etc

I think it is easier to see a good ME movie than to pronounce your name! =P
Just watched Prince of Persia and I liked it. Cool movie but with a kind of plot that I really don't buy since Back to the Future. Never played the game though.
