I could picture Michael Trucco playing Shepard IF there REALLY HAS to be a story about Shep in the movie.

If they're really making the movie then they should stick to the main story but with different characters, like a paralel story. Don't get me wrong, Sheppard and his sidekicks should exist, as well as his actions. But the main focus should be in different characters and how their actions "contributed for the big picture".



In my opinion all adaptations should be like this.

How about the ME action would be the journey of Conrad Verner, so he meets Shep ( which would be G.B. as i wrote above ) and ends with his death later on

Jake Gyllenhaal already played Dastan in Prince of Persia. Do we really need him to play yet another main character in video gaming, especially as Shepard? I think not!

I really think they should get an up and coming actor to play Shepard, like they're doing with Thor. However! Apparently Matthew Fox is rumored to play him, according to IMDB.

IMDB works like Wikipedia where anyone can submit stuff. Seeing as there is no script or screenplay even written there is no "rumor" to anyone playing Shepard.

I am very happy yet at the same time deeply saddened by this announcement, because i even tho it may come to past there is still a huge length in time before we see an actual film. There are productions costs, casting, coming up with a viable script, actually shooting the movie and so many other things that come into play. It could be a whole 2 years or longer before we see any real footage. Knowing "Legendary Pictures" they aren't going to half ass this so i've put on my seat belt and im strapped in tight while i wait. -.-'

Christian Bale and Matthew Fox are the only people i could accept as Shep. Mainly because they look like him. ha. 

Plot should stick tightly to Mass Effect 1. Choices are minor so it wouldn't really matter. CANT WAIT !!

This is off-topic, but has anyone noticed a glitch in ME 2 lately? Mordin's a glitch in mine.
My choice ended up getting Mordin killed in the final mission, but I was still able to play Mordin's loyalty mission and somehow revive him.
However, I could only use Mordin on Tuchanka on that mission and before Shepard leaves Tuchanka. He is alive on the ship and now loyal to me, but dead on the database because of the final mission.
I'm very confused. Would Mordin still be a playable character in ME 3 if you played the loyalty mission even though he's dead? Or would he not be because of killing him in the final mission?

Nice! hope it's going to be good and that they get the right actors for the right parts, I hpoe they use a female Shepard, it's more dynamic and it mixes things up a bit, it will be interesting to see fem  Shepard on the big screen (sad when it comes to choosing wether Ash or Kaidan though on Virmire )

eh, no offense, i doubt it. mind you, it would be nice to see a movie about a woman in the military without it being about women in the military. still, i hope this doesnt fail like the halo movie.

None taken, yeah I guess you're right. Same here, some people and in different articals are saying it's supposed to be a high budget movie and it's being directed by the person who did the dark knight and spider man but yeah got my fingers crossed it doesnt turn out like halo.

I will not be able to support or even give a single word of praise unless every single decision made by the movie Shepard/hero is exactly the way I chose in the game or the way I would choose if it were in the game.

the only thing i want is for them to not kill wrex i could give S*it  less if they killed ashley kadian i really never liked either of them to bad you could only leave one of them in ME1 if it were an option i wiuold have left both. but thats just me

I think it's difficult to justify sparing wrex knowing only the events leading to the situation, his instability and him losing control during the extremely important mission.....this is why in most of my playthroughs I killed him.....HOWEVER in ME2 he becomes a good puppet figure Shepard can manipulate and just strong enough to be able to unite the Krogan clans so in my imported characters I allowed him to live so that when crap hits the fan and the reapers come I can throw the Krogan at the reapers first to hopefully distract some of them while the more advanced and intelligent speciaes can hopefully deploy their heaviest weapons....nukes and such. After the reapers are dealt with if any Krogan remain they can be eliminated then.
