How about George Lucas & Steven Spilberg? They can do to Mass Effect what they did to Indiana Jones.
(Why is Lucas so obsessed with aliens???).

Hmm, so, Legendary are also responsible for
10,000 BC
Lady in the Water
Clash of the Titans
I hope the movie won't fall into the above category of films!

It's been about 2.5 months since we have opened our views to the ME Movie. And it's been a month since The List has been shown to the public. The List has been updated again.
If you don't know what The List is, it contains all the actors/actresses that many had believed would be a good choice as a particular role on only this website. The List is to benefit everyone by seeing what we - as a whole - have come up with and support you so you don't have to look for different actors/actresses on different websites or forums. If you had any addititional options for certain characters in The List, that will be very appreciated. However, I will warn you that The List only contains names and is extremely extensive and ludicrous. That is why The List will be divided into sections. So for today, you will see The List Part 1, which shows all of the actors/actresses picked to play certain characters in ME 1. So, without further ado, enjoy:
The List (part 1 – All ME 1 characters)
(Note: The list is in no particular order, only has names, & all the VA’s are included on the list – even additional roles for VA’s. Unfortunately, since the list has so many actors/actresses, there was no point to even use pictures for every one of them.)

Look people, having a movie about Shepard is just like watching someone else play the game. They may define the character differently, but it's just their interpretation. The games came first, so a movie won't create a "Canon Shepard," it will just be the filmmakers telling one version of the story.
I agree with that but here comes the other problem, if the director's vision differs from the viewer's vision, the viewer will not be pleased. The example of this is the infamous "Han Solo Shot First" -incident (you know, the one where George Lucas put Greedo shot first so Han would be better role model for kids in EP4:SE and the audience were not pleased about it.). So imagine if they made Shephard paragon and the viewer preferes renegade Shep he would be mad if they make Sheppard look like honest boy scout. And then there is gender which is problematic because in games he/she can be either male or female, so that annoys fans too if Shep is he or not she (or other way around). And third there is change when the someone who haven't played the games liked the movie and buys the game he'll be disappointed because there isn't the direct director's vision in the game, rather than roleplay like choises. And when that viewer tells how ****ty and nerdy the game is the reputition of all games in the series suffers (if he don't change his mind and give the game a change). And plus there is also the fact that movie is 3 h maximum when game takes 12 hours to beat (if you don't do anything else than play the main quest that is), so it is pretty hard to make it to a feature film.

Then just about everyone will be disappointed, because, everyone has a different version of Shep whether they are male or female. I know I have 5 different male shepards and 5 female shepards. Some follow paragon and some follow renegade, their choices are always different. The movie will be the same, a different Shepard than what we have now. I think that is point, we get to see another Shepard and that is what excites me. Mass Effect without Shepard to me is not Mass Effect. We learn about the Mass Effect universe through him/her. The movie is just another way that we will get to see Mass Effect play out.

Exactly my thoughts. If you have 3 different Shepards then what harm does it do to have another one in the movie?
