If there is a movie, it will go something like this...
Shepard: Will be male (Shepard is always protrayed as male on the VG covers and posters). He will be played by someone who looks like Mark Vanderloo (or use him with either overdubbing or speech therapy)... That's IF it's live action, they could go CGI (probably a better option TBQH). He won't be an ass (Renegade) Hero's are not asses in movies. It'll follow the game's main plot line tightly (No side/loyalty missions unless they want a movie that's 8 hours in length. Sounds good in theory but after the 5th hour it will become boring, games are interactive, we WANT them to be longer, movies are not, so we don't). There will be a romance of course, but it won't be with a non-human character (Poor Tali, she is quite sweet). Bioware, if they appoint a developer/studio liason with balls, will have some say of the development of the movie.
If it's going to be a success, there should be three simple rules.
1) Bioware develops the game script into a screenplay and submit it to the studio's as a final draft.
2) They choose a director with some experience of playing the game, and someone who loves it. Preferably an unknown.
3) Seth Green portrays Joker... 'NUFF SAID!
TBH, I'm not too keen on ME becoming a movie. It's better as a game. I wish them luck with it and if and when it comes out, I shall pay money to see it. But unless it's amazingly written, acted, directed and not just a Michael Bay-esque explosion and camera-shake fest, then I'll leave the theatre shaking my head....
