It will be cool if this part depends on your actions in ME2 during her loyalty quest. That one engendered a fair amount of avenues to success and variability in outcome.

And I was thinking about it, and the asari are probably the ugliest-- I think they mess with the minds of those who view them so that they look attractive (based on the hints dropped in the bachelor party conversation on illium). They're really probably just big bipedal slugs.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who caught that hint.  I don't think Bioware would go there though.  Too Lovecraftian.

hope they keep the story,geth, reapers so on. dont kill the game with half baked movie, Seth Green as Joker pLs. for the love of god, a complete story line with good effects dont be afraid of spending some $$$ wat u dont make off of movie will make back in ME3, depending on wat come first.. ME3 first...lol

Keep in mind though that they have to make a movie for the mass audience as well and these people will most likely not have played the game. So they have to keep the context rather streamlined, I don't know if you could do something earlier then the FCW but at the same time Shepards story seems the most natural to use since you get introduced to the ME universe at a very stable pace. Ya you could introduce things in the FCW but do you want a movie about FCW where half of the story is explaining things the fans already know about or do you want to get into the battle and the characters.



If that doesn't make any sense I'm blaming it on be worn out and tired so please just ignore it, but I think I due have a point in there somewhere that will probably get buried 3 pages back in about 5 minutes.

Chris didn't mention if the movie will be about Shepard. So that means it can be about anything and that information that I did read is wrong.

Bioware, please, explore Mass Effect's universe. Don't use any used subject for this movie. There are subjects like the Rachini Wars that much fans want to see.

I doubt the Rachni wars would be used, the war happenned long before humans began exploring the stars and most likely they would want a human as the identyfing figure for the audience.

It will be great that the film tells the story about the First Contact War, when humanity discovers the Protheans Ruins in Mars, and then they join the Alliance with the Citadel Species.

Yes, yes it is.  I chose Miranda because she was the least creepy, and I wanted the stupid achievement.  I don't feel particularly attached to mediocre fictional characters.  Or any, for that matter.  To each his, or her, own, though.

Also, why do these boards block swears.  One would think that people taking about a game aimed at, and rated for, adults would be, you know, adults.  Grown ups can handle naughty words Bioware.

I sincerely hope that the producers of the Mass Effect movie will do the movie justice and make it good.



Please do not make it be an ultimate failure like Street Fighter and Wing Commander movies.

Welp, I guess I'm gonna have to get a little creepy.  Miranda is based on the woman from Chuck, whose name I can't be assed to look up, and this woman is actually hot.  Imagining her in Miranda's catsuit is...titillating to say the least.

I'm willing to bet that the plot will be that of the default Shepard. He'll stay mostly on the paragon path so that he remains likable through the whole film.



As much as we'd all like to see a movie about the First Contact or Rachni wars, Legendary Pictures isn't making this movie solely for die-hard fans of the game. The number one goal of any studio is to get butts in seats.



I think it's safe to say that the movie won't suck because the Mass Effect universe is so deep and the games are so well-written.

Aw thit yoz! I almost ****ed my pants. I hope-as we all do- that this movie is GOOD. Unlike many other video game movies such as resident evil, mario bros(god what a piece of $%@* movie... Chrisitian Bale with a buzz may serve as a good shepard. I don't care who the actors are i just hope this movie is above expectations like Transformers 1.  And Bioware, for the sake of your fans; don't let the producer f up this movie. AND DON'T MAKE IT 3-D. I think all of us are sick of this 3-D fad.

It's okay,  Grim.  I only care about Tali because Liz Sroka's voice is totally hot.
