its not realy like that all. its more like people dont want to have there own experiance of shepard ruined by whats likely to be quite a generic shepard in the film not to mention the desire to see a film that would expand an already well written universe.

disagree... how exactly does it ruin your experience?  Everyone keeps saying that, but how will it ruin it.  Someone please explain a legitimate reason it would actually ruin a gaming experience of a game that you already played?  Maybe it would change your gameplay for the third installment, but ruin it? Not likely.  If anything it might change the way you play it when you play again, creating a new gaming experience.  

So here is a question, when you/we play the game again and change the way you played it the first playthrough (SPOILER ALERT ie: letting wriex, or killing wrex, or choosing ashley or choosing kaiden) does that playthrough in turn ruin your initial experience when you played the first time?  It's kind of the samething, your seeing a different outcome.  

So please tell me, convince me, how seeing Shepard's story will ruin yours, mine, or anyone's gamig experience.

It's kind a ridiculous to think it would really change anyone's experience... remember Shepard is a fictional character that was made to entertain us in a very captivating game and now possibly a movie. 

Believe it not if Shepard does something in the movie, it won't affect your save game, and you can still do what you want in your game regardless of what happens in the movie.

So shed some light, and tell me, am I missing something?

I think it should be a male Shepard, but if they did choose a female Shepard, i think it should be more of a Kate Beckinsale, or Jessica Biel... I think Hale is a bit too old.  I think the voice acters should definately have cameos but some won't be able to hold a staring role that big.

I'm guessing people here are scared that the movie story shall become canonical or something and their gaming experiences will not be the same as the official story. But didn't Joker say "Who believes the official story?"

Besides, most our gameplays aren't canon because canonical Shep is Shep by default (John or Jane, Earth-born, Sole Survivor, Soldier, period). So, just enjoy the movie (if it truly game-based, not universe-based) and consider it as another playthrough.

1)  I cant see Jessica Biel in a role that says shes going to kick your ass.   I couldnt take her seriously in the Blade:Trinity movie.

I think the WWE Wrestler John Cenna would make an excellent Shepard. He allready has the intimidation factor going. I can totally see him punching out the reporter and Manuel, lol! Shepard needs to be not just a good looking guy but have certain "presence" about him. Shep is not a guy people forget. )

Typical female behavior. Needless to say, the alien menace isn't defeated, and Ripley succeeds only in killing her alien/human hybrid love-child.

Sarah Connor was confined to an insane asylum - like all masculine women should be - and could do nothing to protect her son, who remained safe due only to the efforts of one male monotone Austrian body-builder. Because Sarah Connor is barely sane from her one encounter with a Terminator, they kill her off and bring in mentally stable male leads (Edward Furlong, Nick Stahl, Christian Bale) who can handle the stress of fighting a future doomed to robotic domination.

In conclusion, women with power will only doom our civilization unless we actively fight their bid for equal control.
