Normally movies that are based on games sucks... so far. I hope this is THE exception...

Forgot to add that I didn't do their trust missions (Saren's brother, Benezia's daughter and Harbinger's trade with the Shadow Broker). So they all died.

The only way I will watch this movie is if there is an opening narration by the director that goes, "Hey there guys! This is AwesomeAbrams and welcome to my Let's Play of Mass Effect"

So... what have we learned?
1. As far as we know, the movie will be based on the first Mass Effect game, so arguments in favour of anything else are not constructive.
2. Mark Vanderloo is not an actor and there's no way he will be in the movie, so stop suggesting it just because his face was used promotionally.
3. Yes the movie plot will most likely not match the choices you made in your playthrough(s) of the game but that doesn't mean the movie can 'ruin' your gameplay experience any more than playing it through multiple times ruins the earlier playthroughs.  So stop whining about it.
4. It's kinda funny that some people are demanding the model behind the face of the standard Shepard while others are worried because the movie won't have 'their' Shepard - at least I hope it's different people because wanting both those things at the same time doesn't make sense.
5. There is no 5.
6. And there's no way they'll make a fully Renegade super-racist Shepard.
7. We don't need to be thinking about actors for ME2 yet: see point 1

i think the cast should be:



Sheperd - Either 'Ben Browder' or 'Mathew Fox' as some have suggested

Ashley - 'Michelle Rodriguez'



Thats all i've got for now. And also the minor cast such as 'Marina Sirtis' should play their roles as they were in the game.

What the hell would the story be in first contact war, it would just be another star wars, i want to see saren, i want to see soveriegn, TALIE, ASHLEY, KAIDEN, GARRUS, WREX FOR ****S SAKES, ANDERSON, AND lol ****ING UDINA HAHAHA, IN REAL LIFE, IT WILL BE EPIC, I just want to know what mass effect would look like in a movie, dont care how they do it, just show me the character baby.. Actually, she should play Shepard.
So then when Sovereign lands on her everyone will think she's been killed off as per usual.  And then she dies again at the start of the sequel.  That would be funny in a meta kind of way.

seriously, it's a great new,, hope its going to be well maded, because if its soo good as the game.......avatar, heart loocker, distrct 9....they will be jus like kids compared with a mass effect movie.... (i like the Hugh Jackman as shepard, Seth Green as joker, and scarlet johanson as tali) XD

OK - let's not dilly dally with who we think would be good. Let's think about who REALLY shouldn't be Shep - male or female. Good start with Keanu, Eyesofjon; I second that. I will raise you one Sam Worthington for male Shep, and Angelina Jolie as female Shep. I think I'd have to gouge my eyes out first! Anyone else care to put up some stinkers?

Ive been discussing this movie on other threads, should have waited or this one it seems as there is so much more discussion here.

Chiwetel Eliofor for the main protag (That should be Anderson). If your set on shepard then Chiwetel should be the choice anyway.

Thats something to look foward to, I just hope its better then other Games to Movies or Movies to Games, they never seem work well, I hope ME the Movie will be better.

Jason Statham and Christian Bale  are two that I believe need to be added to the "Do NOT cast as MaleShepard" List that I have seen dropped a few times on the boards since the movie announcement.

ok Megan Fox as Jack Angelina Jolie as Samara or Liara ( dont ask me why i just want to see Angelina Jolie in blue) and as commander shep well all the guys that i have seen here on this page cant fit the role. and as Kasumi i was thinking Kelly Hu and as Joker i think that they should stick with Seth Green ( cant see anyone else as Joker, the voice is to perfect) and as Miranda well take one guess and Jacob must be Kanye West.

Stop asking for Megan Fox people. She is gorgeous but she just can't act This film needs to be deep, epic and WELL ACTED if it has any hope of pleasing fans.

Megan Fox  gets one photo with a shaved head and people cant stop it with her.  Go figure.      

Atleast if it was Natalie Portman's name dropped more often with her shaved head photo or something I could be swayed more.  Atleast she has more acting ability than Megan Fox who I'd compare to a wet mop.  Atleast mops can do something produtive.
