Adam was born in '62     He'll be over 50 by the time the movie would roll around.    Sorry  cant buy it.

Honestly? It depends on how they play the story out. I am hoping that it doesn't tie in with the games in terms of story, and instead expands on the universe in other ways. Funny thing is, I'd give an example but I can't seem to think of a good one... Maybe something that covers past events in the ME universe?

the movie should be a prequel like the discovering of the ruins on mars, or the first relay, the first contact war or even the rackni wars! Point being leave male/fem shepard for the games and the fans & gamer's imaginations

well bioware does say on their website

Even though ME1 & 2 are rated "M" (not a very hardcore M compared to games like God of War or Gears of War) but I'm assuming the movie will go the "safe" route and be PG-13. I wish they'd make it rated "R" but let's be honest. PG-13 movies usually gain a much larger audience and Bioware is a business after all so....

Has anyone thought about Mark Meer for Shepard? I mean honestly, he IS the voice of Shepard and he definitely resembles him too from the few pictures I've seen. All he'd really have to do is shave off the hair and he'd be pretty close, probably even more than Matthew Fox. I don't know too much about the guy, or whether he's a decent actor or not, but as far as I'm concerned, he did a great job with Shepard's voice. The studio might prefer to go with a known actor though, but that is not always a requirement. Sorry if this has already been addressed, I didn't really want to scan through 78 pages.

If they want to ruin the movie they don't have to look any further than this thread for bad ideas. There are a few good ideas though.

For instance, finding someone under 35 to play Shepard and not making it a pure action movie.
