And DONT BASE THE MOVIE ON Game crew.....
TIP you can base the Series on discovery of the races.
NOTE:
I bought a N7 hoodie from biostore and a fashion friend ask me if N7 was a new fashion label and of course i told her that you cant buy the wearing without playing the game(s). :-)

Personally, I'm hoping it will have a female Shepard as lead... Who they'd have playing her though, I'm not sure. Maybe just have Jennifer Hale do something other than just voice? Shes good looking enough to actually appear on screen as Shep. Otherwise, I could see Sam Worthington ending up as Shepard... and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Jennifer Hale is awesome, but not someone I would have play FemShep live-action. She'll be 40 by the time the filming would begin on the movie.
*sighs*
I swear if I hear Sam Worthington's no talent ass mentioned one more time I'm gonna break something...
*waits for the next person to say the name*

Again, why are we even assuming its going to have Shep in it at all? If they go with a first contact war timeline or something else of that nature I assume all of these folks speculating on who's goig to play Shepard are going to be angry lol. Oh well, serves em right for counting their chickens so to speak

"The producers behind The Dark Knight and Spider-Man are teaming for Mass Effect, a live-action, big screen adaptation of the Electronic Arts-BioWare videogame. "
"Mass Effect is a tremendous property ripe for translation to the big screen," said Thomas Tull, Chairman and CEO of Legendary Pictures, in a statement. "Mass Effect is a prime example of the kind of source material we at Legendary like to develop; it has depth, compelling characters and an engaging back story. This coupled with Avi and Ari producing and the skills of a great team adapting the screenplay, are the start of turning this smash videogame based property into a successful feature film."

But unless this is a 20+ hour movie or a TV series it cant possibly be any good. Bioware what are you playing at, ME2 not sell enough? Ew.
Ah yes "premature speculation" We have dis.... Oh screw it. Cutting out all the side missions and general busy work from Mass Effect will reduce things dramatically. Yes a TV series would be a better option but we arent getting that.. yet. So long as the movie clocks in at around 150 mins I think its possible to pull off. Anything under is going to be hard as hell. Anything under 2 hours is going to crash and burn. We dont need the Fist storyline to really get characters involved. Garrus wants to expose Saren, Tali has the recording which could be something planned for the Council to help her peoples status. Wrex is just Wrex and likes the concept. We can B.S. something with Liara at the dig site for uncovering the cipher, so the Thorian arc on Feros is gone. Noveria can be greatly reduced to simiply tracking down Benezia. We dont need with the Rachni, Lorik Qui'in, Peak15 garage pass filler. Trimmed like 10+ hours in a paragraph alone.

Least is not done by Disney.
I prefer HBO but Legendary Pictures will do.
I seen 300. One of best ancient history (not totally true but base on truth) I reckon.
With the movie itself base it on the novel The First Contact
If it base on the game Mass Effect 1/2 and the movie don't pan out as expected, there will be lot of whinges (One bad thing about Firfox is, Its spell checker sucks, it tag whinges wrong.) in this forum.

Well Id like to see a female sheperd but in a male dominated ego trip I seriously doubt it.

...To be honest, this sounds quite promising. The people lined up to be involved in this project have all done good work in the past. :-)
Is it cynical of me to assume that Shepard will be male in this movie, or is there actually a chance for a female Shepard? Or will the storyline not involve Shepard at all?
