Seriously....a movie?  Please spend your resources on future Mass Effect games, not this.....!

They should realease it at the same time as ME3 and people will think its a game of the movie....

I would like to see the Illusive Man get knock up side the head with a brick then he gets tied up and he goets tortured by husks. on a happier note i would like have the blue suns and all the sqaudmats from mass effect 2 be in the movie including WREX and mabye even sarens brother who came to reack tottal vengeance

Seriously? If you ran a game studio and someone wanted to make a movie out of your game you will say no? Anyway, most of the resources come from the movie studio, not Bioware.

Saren's brother? Haven't heard of that one before. Maybe his brother could be a squad member.

oh this is nice...should at least wait for the game trilogy to expire or a simultaneous release.
as for shep...hmmmm...i always thought about bruce wilis, but he's getting up there in the years. i saw hugh jackmans name mentioned, that would be nice.   can always add another dimension to shep, say, have jet li play him.  but who says it has to be male...kate beckinsale comes to mind for fem shep. as does that girl from die hard 4...whats her name? oh, maggie q. jada pinket smith could probably pull it off.
what about the other characters? cgi perhaps? maybe keep some of the voice actors (if they could) some of them are actors anyway like captain anderson and admiral hackett.  at the end of the day though, would it really work? i mean, games that go into movies dont always translate well. they gave up on a halo movie for partly this reason. why ruin an otherwise great franchise with an inferior movie?

We probably are since they have to figure out what the budget of the move is, have to write a first draft of the script, choose a suitable cast of actors for each character, and find out who is the perfect director for the job.  Personally I think J.J. Abrams should direct it after watching the new Star Trek reboot.

Multiplayer? Are you serious kyle924?!! That would make the fans go into an uproar and the reviews would be awful?  I mean seriously how would you implent multiplayer into a game like Mass Effect???

I predict the release date will be 2012 if everything goes smoothly with choosing  a suitable cast of actors, creating the right art syle and cg, choosing a director who will make an excellent mass effect movie like J.J. Abrams, and when they finish the first draft for the movie.

The reason they got rid of sex was because of Fox.

The new Prince of Persia was a good film and is possibly the best video to film adaptation yet, untill Mass Effect the movie comes out of course.

Well first of all, we still don't know whether the movie will be cg or not and second why do you need both genders for Commander Shepard.  That will be like 2 seperate movies with different choices.
