So basically both of you are willing to pay 5$ for some 1-2 hours of gameplay with a little bit story and bashing random stuff? It would be far better if they work with the team on some expansion or DA2 and not for some rubbish DLC.

Just watched episode 4. Wow. I'm speechless. I've never seen cutscenes anywhere near this good outside of CGI. The amount of scripting work that must've gone into this is mind-boggling. I agree, Bioware should make an offer to these guys. DA really lacked in the cinematics department IMO.

I'm... really amazed at the quality of these shorts. I mean, really well done. I'm pretty sure not that many people care, but dang. The way the environmental sounds (such as fire crackling, the crunching of their footsteps on the snow, metal clinking when moving) are used really help to enrich the viewer's experience. It's just... everything's so spot-on!

I did not like it - it was very violent and just showed people fighting each other. What's new about this!

Yuri Lowenthal voice acts in this. As heard for some of the characters and his name is in the credits as well. Would a famous Voice actor voice in a fan made Machinima? Or is this really official Dragon age stuff?

Whatever happened to this series? It was shaping up to be one of the best pieces of Dragon Age media!

Just watched eppisodes 1-5, thought it was really good. Remembered atthe end that Kristoff was Justice from Awakening.

When is Eppisode 6 going to come?

Yeah, I'd love to see episode six! Are there any similar projects like this being worked on? It's amazing seeing what people can do with the toolset.

Apparently they stopped making this series as it has been over a year since any episodes were made. Was it EA that shut em down? Or did they just get tired of doing it? Either way I wish they would have continued.

It was never meant to continue after this. It was about the warden you meet in Dragon Age Awakening. The one whos body Justice uses. And how he may have got into the blackmarsh.

But thyere was to many loose ends. Who was the boy in the end? What happened to the Elf lady and her child? It doesn't even start to explain how he ended up in Blackmarsh. He doesn't even find out that it was the Darkspawn who was behind it.
No, I think they where planing more episodes but the designechanges that came with DA2 made it impossible to do. The old designe got to old.

First of all. No. They stated they were finished after that episode since it involved the warden going to the marsh where he dies.

Second of all don't necro a year old topic.

So you necro a 2 month old thread all so you can try and start an argument with someone who was telling someone to not necro a now 2 year old thread.

Yea nice use of common sense and logic there.

It was a rhetorical question.

There's no argument to be had here and it's wrong use of common sense and logic to imply that there is or that one isn't allowed to "necro" a 2 year/month old thread in the news and announcements sub-forum (where many of the open threads have posts from 1 - 2 years ago).

Let's let Bioware decide the ToS yes?

In any case this is a forum and people can and will reply to posts they see regardless of how old they are.

Goodnight.

You claim there is no argument, yet you tried to start something by making that post, which was directed at me, while necroing the topic.

Why Thread necro is bad:
1.Any new information that might be provided by that post most likely has
been provided in a different way allready or simply doesn´t matter
anymore (remember: when threads don´t get any more new answers that
usually has a reason), and any new questions have a much higher chance
to be answered in a new seperate thread. Not to mention that some of the
old threads are simply, well, old news that is not relevant anymore.
Most necros simply bring nothing of any value to the table.

2.It also keeps forum discussions current and relevant,
ensuring that browsers new to the forum aren't intimidated by
10-year-old 90-100 page threads that everyone just necroposts in because
why bother making a new thread?

3.Most thread necromancers I've seen in action resurrect threads that run
to multiple pages just to add a one sentence reply that makes no
meaningful contribution to anyones life. If you weren't paying attention
to the post dates (and I usually don't) you can end up reading pages of
ancient posts, which is a waste of everyones time. If you did feel an
old thread was relevant it would probably be best to start a new thread
and refer to the previous one along with a link.

4.Generally you start a new thread, and if it's relevant to a prior
thread, you link to that thread. That way everyone knows that the
current thread is recent, and just covers the same topic.

5. http://tvtropes.org/...readNecromancer

Generally thread Necro is bad for the reasons listed above. With
important threads (the ones that usually get stickied) thread necro can
sometimes OK as long as you have something genuinely important or relevant to the thread as a whole.

Wow. No seriously, get your priorities straight. Nobody else cared that the thread was necro'd.
