But thyere was to many loose ends. Who was the boy in the end? What happened to the Elf lady and her child? It doesn't even start to explain how he ended up in Blackmarsh. He doesn't even find out that it was the Darkspawn who was behind it.
No, I think they where planing more episodes but the designechanges that came with DA2 made it impossible to do. The old designe got to old.
Well the dying guy told him of an evil in the Blackmarsh, we can presume the boy was a random child and I've forgotten all about the elf lady and her child. Either way, we know why he ended up in the Blackmarsh and Awakening really continues the story as we find Kristoff dead (killed by the Disciple obviously) and Justice takes possession of his corpse.
In other words, Awakening is the continuation and Warden's Fall was basically well done marketing to say "buy the expansion to find out what happens next." The only thing that's bugged me with Warden's Fall is the hairstyle of Kristoff in Awakening which doesn't match at all with his hairstyle during the Machinima but I suppose we can say he shaved his hair (because he fancied a change) before setting out to Blackmarsh!
I just wish Bioware would team up with Machinima again for some more stories set in the Dragon Age universe. I'm sure if they gave them the right tools for Inquisition's engine, they could create something as good again.
