So I've been wondering, how exactly is our beloved Operations Chief going to make her entrance in ME3? ME1 had her first in the distress message, then a few minutes later diving to avoid the Geth. ME2 she's on Horizon, then gets stung and somehow fights her way out if it.
I think ME3 will either let her have a "soft" intro, or she is going to come flying onto the scene again. My choice would be for her to save Shep's life somewhere and join him on the Normandy, but then plenty of painful and awkward things to work through, until they get the true reward of a decent happy relationship for being faithful.

Congrats on getting to 100, you are doing really well :-)
@Pyro, thanks :-) I did remain OT though, cos I mentioned Ash in my earlier bump :-) I wouldn't dream of derailing you all.
As a female gamer I found Ash the most believable of all the female characters in ME and ME2, she always seemed very real to me. All the other females (apart from maybe Chakwas) don't seem to gel so well with my Shepard, Ash is the only one who talks TO me, iyswim?

See, I never felt connected to Liara in a friendly way because she has the hots for female Shepard which leads to uncomfortable silencesV-rex wrote...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Even without a romance implied Ashley can still just have friendly chit chat without it always reverting to the topic of sex. I mean I still liked Liara and Tali quite well but for some reason it was more enjoyable to just chat with Ashley (admittedly I've never done a playthrough as a femshep so I'm not the best judge here) and overall it felt like a friendship was forming that was on the path to becoming romantic and even if you subtracted the romance part she still becomes a good friend.
I see what you mean, also thanks for the bump.
EDIT: That said, so do Tali and Liara but I sort of agree that it doesn't quite gel as well or at least not in the same way as it did with Ashley.

I too agree that it should be a much more emotional meeting than before, although they could still mix it up by having Ashley meet Shepard on what is considered 'official' business but if she was romanced ends up getting very passionate and emotional.
I imagined something along the lines of her being there when Shepard reapplies for Spectrehood (My word I made up) and maybe she speaks on his behalf. But still that's just a theory.
Either way, Ashley and Shepard had better have a good solid emotional reuinion.
EDIT: Also I totally agree with the idea of Ashley saving Shepard's life and later on rejoining him on the Normandy. I just hope that it's handled well and develops properly as Ashley and Shepard reaffirm their feelings for one another.

This is one of the very best things about Ashley, in my opinion, and why I can't really put my heart into any of the other romances (so far, at least). Ashley has no real "Let's be in a romance" moment, so as a result you can just talk and talk without feeling like you're under pressure for being in a romance, and then pretty soon you realize that it's happened without your even being consciously aware of it.
She is strong and isn't looking for Shepard to protect her, which might be why female gamers like her, she doesn't play the 'save me', card! (Which I hate, btw <_<V-rex wrote...

Yeah, it felt very real and well drawn out. Plus I loved the little moments of flirtatious chemistry, there was a real spark when she made playful remarks and oh so subtle hints and they got more clear as the story progressed and eventually grew to be quite emotional on Ashley's part without her ever seeming like she was becoming dependant on Shepard.
