Indeed, thank you for yet another bump.
Anyway to start a topic:
Let's just say that Ashley isn't recruitable in Mass Effect 3 but is rather given a really important NPC role similar to Captain Anderson in Mass Effect 1. If that was to be the case, what would you like her role to be?
Personally I imagine she could be Shepard's contact on the Citadel or a high ranking military officer that is involved in overseeing the final Mission, it would give her the screen time she deserves as well as the potential to have the relationship with Shepard mend as they get to know each other through the course of the mission once again.
So yeah, that'd be my pick? What's yours?

I like the idea of having her be a mission-giver, V-rex. I think by default she'd have to be an Alliance contact in some sense if she isn't recruitable - what other reason would Shepard have for ever seeing her if she isn't on the squad or important to missions? Other than that... Maybe having her on-board in a Kelly-like capacity, as in communicating and liasing with the Alliance about Shepard's progress, but not actually being able to go on missions. I'd imagine it would give the opportunity for her to get frustrated and have some interesting dialogue.

It would be kinda cool to see her on the ship just as NPC support rather than a squadmember but I would hope that her conversations with Shepard would be as deeply woven into the plot as they were in Mass Effect 1. In any case I would hope that she hasn't lost that spark that fans have grown to love her for.

I think Mass Effect 3 is an excellent opportunity to have more talkable, relevant crew members who aren't necessarily squad members (I am thinking squarely of Shiala in this case). For instance, I thought Mordin was spectacularly unnecessary as a squad member, but he was important to have along as ship scientist. So more characters who have importance other than as squad members would be interesting.
But no, I wouldn't want to see Ashley reduced to anything less than full status, because she is worth it for me to demand that, however unrealistic such an expectation might prove to be. I will admit, Shepard getting missions from Ash directly from Alliance high command or wherever is a rather interesting idea, but I wouldn't expect such a thing simply because of all the contingencies that would have to be built into the game in order to make that work.

It would be a huge disappointment if she was anything else but a full squad member.
That is all.
Truth. I didn't save/romance her for nothing. But regardless, she'd make a good contact for sure.Errol Dnamyx wrote...

I´ve seen them and it is obvious that your painting skills have improved dramatically, but shouldn´t her hair be black? We don´t want the devs to confuse her with Kelly or someone else, do we?

Concussive Shot...um how about no it b elike the 5th person to have that.
Incendiary Ammo that be the third.
Passive Immunity, this could work, depends on how Bioware makes it.
How about a possible skill for Ashley to use Heavy Weapons. omg dual Chain Guns that be OP.
