I've been playing ME1 & 2 again since I erased all my other saves when I reformatted my computer. I obviously romanced ashley, and I really don't like how all the other squad mates ignore the fact that I was (am) in a relationship with Ash.

I shouldn't need to turn down their advances on my shepard since they shouldn't try it in the first place. Especially tali's. She's so up front about it.

Yeah, I agree. Personally I would have liked there to be one dialouge option whenever a romanceable squadmember puts the move on Shepard that essentially says:
"I'm flattered but I'm with (insert name here)"

So therefore I could turn down Tali while making it look like Shepard is doing it because he's in love with Ashley, not just because he has no interest in Tali.

But still I agree, Tali at least should have been aware that Shepard had feelings for Ash, if Kelly was able to ask it I'm pretty sure Tali should as well.

EDIT: As it goes without saying, I mean no offence to any Tali fans who may be reading this.

I 100% agree... Not to pick on Tali, but she seems to take it extremely hard when you turn her down. It would've been far better to have an option to discuss your ME1 LI - especially since Tali and Garrus would, as others have mentioned, presumably have known about the relationship. Hell, even Miranda and Jacob would arguably know, given that Kelly does.

I think those colors are just the standard for the model of armor she was wearing, so she probably picked the armor itself because it was light and easy to wear. Though it is possible she just likes the colors pink and white.
She's like our own strawberrys and cream:wub:

Okay seriously, probably just the armor she was assigned to wear and given that in Mass Effect 2 she's seen wearing the same but with a red secondary instead of pink, odds are she upgraded her armor.

Just finished ME2 for the first time after accidentally deleting all my
other saves, and Its confirmed the end shots of ME2 still give me

This was one of the most frustrating things about the new love interests in Mass Effect 2, absolutely no acknowledgement that Shepard has ever been in a relationship with anyone (well, except for Kelly).

In ME1, it appears that they tried to blend racial features in a lot of the characters to make Earth seem like one big melting pot, in a way - which is especially apparent, IMO, in Ash, Kaidan, Anderson, and Udina.  I'm not sure why they seemed to pull away from this in ME2, but I rather liked it, personally.

Most people seem to think Ash has some Latin blood, which I certainly don't disagree with.
