Will Ash be a N7 marine in ME3?
I wouldn't mind seeing her in some sort of N7 armor.
I think Shepards Armor Locker in his Cabin has room for a special someone's armor.
Well his cabin is big enough for two people.
I recently noticed something. When you enter the elevator on the Normandy, it gives you a list of every squad member that's on each level. I noticed that when you look at the captain's level it says "none," as in "none yet." Why would there even be a listing unless there was a possibility that there COULD be someone on that level other than Shepherd? Am I reading too much into this? Oh and as I said earlier, my Shepherd can't wait to be reunited with his raven-haired beauty.

Ugh, that has been taunting me ever since day one. I've had exactly the same thoughts, though I'm still not allowing myself to get too much hope up. I really hope that they'll just let Ash hang out there - Shep has two desks and two picture frames. One can be for Ash with a picture of Shepard, and he can keep the other one! It makes perfect sense to me, lol.Prince of Kemet wrote...

They Way I see it or the way it should work is if you have a LI (sadly have to use ME2 LI here) on the Normandy and call them up to the Captains Cabin for snuggling, they should appear on that list with you leave in the elevator.

I agree, that would be kind of cool. Coming back from endless laser gun battles would be all the more worth it if I got to go home to Ash sitting in my quarters. So yeah, if I had to pick the place where she can stay it would have to be the Captain's quarters, only the best for her.

I thought about that as well but, doesn't the ME2 LI automatically go back to their default location the second you enter the elevator? It has to be for someone who isn't already present on the Normandy.........ASHLEY ALL THE WAY BABY!!!

By the way, who put the picture of Ashley in Shepherd's quarters? Remember, it was already there when you first boarded the Normandy. Kelly? Miranda?
Wouldn't it have to be someone who knows about Ash and Shep?.

I'm sure TIM would be aware of their relationship which means Kelly (being the ship shrink) and Miranda (being in charge of Project Lazarus) probably both were informed of Shepard's relationship with Ash.

Hopefully that's true, but *puts on programmer hat* the "Squad Members:" portion is default for all floors then some sort of select-case function equivalent for what appears after. Coding Captain's Quarters to have "none" for squad members is more efficient than having an if statement eliminating the "Squad Members:" portion for only the top floor. This is just a conjecture.

Keep in mind that we have no idea what kind of DLC is yet to come. Perhaps when ME3 starts, Ashley will already be a member of the Normandy.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on any kind of DLC with Ash. Doesn't matter the size of it,as long as it's
great.

I don't know how I'd feel about Ashley being added to the Normandy via DLC. You cannot even have conversation with the current DLC characters except on their loyalty missions and recruitment. I would love to see her, but I don't want her return to be shoddily produced.
Agreed, Bioware had better show Ash the respect that she has earned.
I've been giving some thought as something that would set Ashley apart. I think that she should have her own unique weapon, it doesn't neccessarily have to be a heavy weapon but if so, cool. I think that she should have a mine gun. Yes, a gun that actually shoots mines. People who have played Resident Evil: Nemesis know exactly what I'm talking about. It was a very wicked weapon.
The mine thrower in RE4The Mine Thrower fires explosive mine darts that detonate after a short time. The darts stick to surfaces and enemies, causing them to stagger slightly before exploding, doing damage equal to a Hand Grenade.
What do you guys think? A badass gun for a badass girl.

I was thinking something more along the lines of this . . .
That my friend is equally as wicked. Is that some kind of pulse weapon?

I'm ashamed for not remembering this weapon...it's the BFG 9000 from Doom. Now that was a SICK weapon. Excellent choice by the way.
If she had this all the "what squadmates should I take?" questions would be answered by "Ashley+BFG 9000 and the second choice doesn't matter because you're going to win."

Still, she's got nothing on Shepard in the combat department. He was an N7 graduate, then a Spectre, then slightly upgraded when brought back to life. I do think, however, the only ME2 squadmates that would have a chance against her are Grunt, Samara, and Jack. Jacob should be able to take her, but he spends all his time sculpting his abs as opposed to actually keeping his combat skills sharp.
True enough. However, I would pay good money to see her and Miranda go at it. I can just hear Jack cheering on Ash now.

Honestly, I feel as though Ashley would trash Miranda in a straight up fight. Plus, I just don't see it happening. I find an Ashley/Jack fight much more likely to occur and much more entertaining. I could definitely picture some tempers flaring in that one. Although I'd probably have to step in because, I tend to be realistic, I'm fairly certain Jack would just be too powerful biotically for Ashley to handle one on one.

I would love to see Ashley finish off a enemy with a roundhouse kick to the head or a knife stab to the chest. She is an elite combat trained marine, I hope that Bioware will let her display her skillz.
I think she'd be great with one of those small military blades used for hand to hand.
Maybe a stab finisher of some sort.
