Hey ash thread. I just posted a new fanfic about shepard replying to ash's email and I thought you guys might like it. There hasn't been any ash/shep fanfiction lately so i got tired of waiting and made my own.

Very good, this is pretty much exactly how I'd imagine Shepard would be thinking if he were to reply to her email. Quite well written and quite believable, I especially liked the litle referance to 'Ash is worth it' that was quite nicely done.
But yeah, a lot of the thoughts going through his mind in your story is how imagined he'd be thinking too so if nothing else you really hit the nail on the head when it comes to how a lot of the Ash fans have interpreted their version of Shepard.

Anyway, to get the ball rolling for conversation again, I know I've asked this before but I still think it's good for conversation:

How do you imagine the romance scene with Ashley and Shepard in Mass Effect 3 should go? How do you reckon it should start and should it be a passionate night or a slow gentle emotional night between Ash and Shepard or should it be a mix of both?

Personally I reckon there should be a very slow, soft gentle sort of a thing and they quietly embrace each other and tenderly make love for the first time in a long time but that Ashley still shouldn't be made of butter and that perhaps after the scene they lie together and talk and even exchange a few lines of dialouge in their old playful way.

But still, that's my opinon. What do the other Ash fans reckon?

Well you'll probably have to work through whatever issue Ash has first, she said she almost... something, so whatever that is you'll have to help solve that first im guessing.  I think since Mass Effect 3 will be the end of Shepard's story it should be more of a final "let's be together forever" type of romance.

Thanks to Wrex and Drunken! Unfortunately I have very little free time because of work and sometimes I can write some posts in the Garrus thread and hope to find some time to write here in the Ashley thread.



I think there is Ash in ME3. I think Ash is also the perfect girl to John Shepard. In fact, during my walkthrough to ME1 I always chose her for John.

I hope that in ME3 it's given to the part that Ash deserves. I also think that much will depend on the choices we have made in ME2. If we choose to love Ash in ME2, she returns to Shepard in ME3 and we see the conclusion (positive) of their love story.

I think that it would start off slow and gentle, but eventually all the pent up emotions and feelings will lead to things getting quite a bit more passionate. Before all of that though, there will be a lot of talking to do to sort things out. In my view, Ash has grown a lot since ME1, so she's perhaps lost quite a bit of that playful sassy attitude. I think it will take some time before it comes out again, but provided you treat her right, I think it will slowly come back. I think once it's back, Shep and her will make love again, but I think that afterwards is going to be pretty emotional. Tears, holding each other close, whispering and so on.

Yeah that's what I thought too, very emotional and tender but with that hint of her old self with the sassy attitude and the jokes but overall a lot more emotional impact as well.
