I was thinking to myself lately how Ash would get on with Miranda, and I actually believe that it could work out well, depending on how you treat Miranda. If you warm her up enough to friendship level, I think that she and Ash could get along quite well. Ash could teach Miranda what it's like to have friends, as well as helping her maybe find a guy. I can see them doing a ladies night out, doing drinks, shopping and so on. Of course, this is totally dependent on how you treat Miranda. I also suspect that sooner or later there is going to be some girl talk that will make Shep blush.

@Ashaman - I tend to agree. I don't think they'd get along at first, but I can definitely see Ash and Miranda developing a friendship. A lot of people think that Miranda having been a Cerberus operative would automatically mean that they'd be enemies - but if you get the ending where Miranda quits Cerberus, I 100% think Ash would respect that and her for it. Out of all of the other female companions in the game, I think that Ash would probably have the best relationship with Miranda than any of the other.

So, now that the Shadow Broker DLC has been announced (http://masseffect.bioware.com/) and it seems unlikely that Ash/Kaidan will make an appearance - I think it would've been mentioned in the blurb if it were going to happen - do you guys think we'll see some separate Ash/Kaidan DLC or expansion in the future? Or, do you think we'll have to wait until ME3 for the next installment of their stories?
Personally, I'm not too optimistic about seeing Ash or Kaidan again until ME3 - as much as I'd love to.

The Liara DLC is going to give us the chance to remove the one thing that prevented her from rejoining the squad in ME2.
I could imagine a similar thing regarding Ash/Kaiden. A storyline that paves the way for their return to Shepards squad in ME3. But there´s not that much to work with I guess... They didn´t join your squad in ME2 because they had orders to get back to Anderson and you worked with Cerberus, both of these variables are most likely going to change in the next part anyway, no matter what actions. (destroying/saving the base, leaving/ staying with Cerberus)

Same, Liara recieved a lot of air time and a loose end with the Mass Effect 2 scene on Illium. This is just closure and more air time for that same character, while we're stuck with that one.. Horizon scene.

Let us not forget that ME3 won't be released until late 2012 early 2013 so, there is plenty of time to get Ash DLC. If there is Ash DLC, she probably won't join Shep yet but, the lines of communication will be reopened.

I think this gives more hope for an Ash/Kaiden DLC because they have more questions than Liara and I am Assuming that ME 3 is more about combat than recruitment so these upcoming DLC's are going to be all about recruitment for the final battle in ME 3.

From what I've read in various press reports, BioWare intends to start delivering DLC that bridges the gap between ME2 and 3 from now on until ME3. I think that they could do DLC for Ash and Kaidan, but it's a 50/50. Being DLC, there is only so much you can do space and cost wise, and to be honest I don't think it would do Ash and Kaidan justice. I could be wrong, but that's my feeling. Possible but unlikely.
What would be really nice is of course if we did get Ash and Kaidan, and they move into the captain's cabin with us. There is space for 2 people there after all lol. Then again, I'd only truly appreciate it if Shep has sorted out the issues with Ash. If she just moves in without any closure, it will feel pretty cheap to be honest. I know it sounds crazy, but Ash is worth the effort and risk to properly fix things up.

We have to realize the WHEN Ash DOES join the Normandy, everything won't be all roses and ice cream. There is going to be some conflict. To what degreee and with whom, I don't know but, for her to come aboard the Normandy and EVERYONE accepts her right away isn't going to happen. She hates Cerberus, so why would she join the Normandy and not have a problem with anyone at all?

Oh, I 110% agree with this! If you just start up the game and see her there, it would be so sad to me. There's a lot of stuff to talk through, and it had better be done - and done well. I want there to be conflict. She's proven that she's the only person who will stand up to Shepard and not do as he says, who will question him; to have her just show up and have everything be all hunkey-dorey in ME3 would be a huge letdown for me.

Its possible they might give her a cameo in the inevitable liara DLC. Other than that, you probably won't be seeing her.

I have more hope than that cause I don't think ME3 is going to be about recruitment thats wat ME2 was. So I would think that they would use the DLC's to recruit so ME3 can be about the combat. Unless BIOWARE want to be funny and have ME1 with 1 disc ME2 with 2 discs ME3 with 3 discs

Funny thing about the idea that ME2 is about recruitment . I already had a crew in ME1. Ashley was the biggest part of that crew. So I really didn't need a recruitment game. I already had a great crew.

No release date yet - just that you and Liara team up to take on the Shadow Broker. I was hoping Ash would play a role, but there was no mention of her, so... Maybe we'll get separate Ash/Kaidan DLC - but that's a longshot, IMO.
