I think that is pretty cool. I'd love to see this happen somewhere in Mass Effect 3.

Well it does happen in ME1, shame we couldnt actually take her to dinner and see her in a tin foil mini skirt. I assume Shepard did think of it though Posted Image

LMAO! That's exactly what I thought when Ashley first said that on the Citadel. Thanks, Funk. Was a good laugh. Posted ImagePosted Image

Also here's a thought shepard technically is a captain he could marry himself and Ash, Sometime before during or after the big battle with the reapers.

I vote for an Independace Day style wedding done right before the big battle.

With Anderson standing behind Shep.

I dunno, in my head - whenever I think about them getting married, which I actually don't want to happen - I always have Anderson officiating. Just seems right, in a way; he was Captain to them both before Shepard took over the Normandy, and I like to think that Anderson was a like a father-figure to Shepard and to Ash, after Shep died.

Really??!! that's very surprising that you don't want that to happen would you like to explain that, because "Anderson officiating" is atleast for me not a reason but hey maybe i don't get it.

I would prefer a choice. I don't see either as the marrying type, tbh, and I hope ME3 leaves the ending open enough so that we can choose and write our own fate for them. I just think neither one likes pomp and circumstance, and they'd probably just be content living together and not putting a label on their relationship.

I agree, I can't actually picture a wedding between those two, idk why though...

No. No weddings in-game. If it doesn't appeal to someone it can make them feel disconnected from the story and none of us want that.

An ambiguous but happy ending would be best imho so that everyone can imagine whatever ending they prefer, from Liam's Phoenix armor and wedding veil to Silver's Anderson officiating the wedding.

I actually see Ash as very much the marrying type, myself, just maybe too focused on the Alliance and all to run off and get hitched anytime soon. She's pretty traditional imo.

Agreed about leaving all that to an open-ended epilogue. I don't mind a wedding or something like that, but not much more specific than that.

I can just see a ending like ME1 tbh, and just like Dragon age, Fallout 1 and 2, we get a bit of text for each caracter in ower squad or people we have meet on ower journey and helped out, informing us of how ower actions have affected them ect.

One way or another, SOMETHING has to happen at the end of ME3. And that affects both Shepard and Ash. But at this point, we can only guess.

Eh, this is something I really don't want to see in Mass Effect. Like, not one bit.

I agree, no weddings in-game. It would make Mass Effect feel like Dragon Age. That said, I would be a sucker for the *idea* of an Ash-Shepard wedding. I like Liam's wedding armor idea.

Pretty much every Bioware game ended with some kind of slideshow, tbh I expect ME3 to end with a slide show as well, as much as I would like something different for once though.

In "my" ending of Mass Effect, I imagine Shepard and Ashley marrying - and of course Anderson would do the service. But this is my ending and not necessarily everyones ending. I doubt that Bioware will show us a wedding ingame, I even doubt the slideshow in the end will be that specific.

I remember the ending of the Baldurs Gate Saga (after Throne of Baal), where you could romance Viconia. You did a hell of a work to make this romance working and what does the slideshow? It f***** killed Viconia after she gave birth to a child! I was really set up, because it left me as the player completely helpless about it. I think Bioware did learn something about it and will not be so specific anymore. Dragon Age end slideshow is a good example of that, imho.

The way I envision my Shep's final ending, corny enough, is a lot how ME1 and 2 ended. HIm running off to go on his next mission, only this time with Ashley by his side.

Yeah, I can see that. Like the final scene with our hero riding off into the sunset with his lady love by his side.

Maybe a little bit of a cliche but still good.

ME is set in late 22nd century space, not 1950s America. It shouldn't have to end with a neat and convenient marriage.
